Oh and money-wise, won't quite make original budget due to the shed and hoover, but that's about the only reason so happy with that.Debt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

Me too! Usually I would just see it there and spend it. It's a nice feelingIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Not quite standard meditation, but have you considered something like yoga's 'salute to the sun'?
Lovely way to bring yourself into the morning (and less violent than my way - which is simply to roll until the bed ends and the floor begins...). As a routine, you don't need to be fully awake for your body to follow the steps - but you'll find that the breathing etc clears your mind nicely, ready for the day. Plus the stretching etc is wonderful for limbering you up - and will no doubt complement the poledancing muscles!RosaBernicia wrote: »Oh and I now have a holidays savings account. With money in it. How cool is that!! :T:T0 -

Why does that sound like a euphemism for somebody mooning? :eek:"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Today not quite so effective...being no breakfast, work bonkers, noticed a couple of colleagues involved in the change plans have rather expanded their LinkedIn profiles, emergency pizza...
being took lunch in, am hopefully useful and not in dire need of LinkedIn, popped round to see a friend, have at least had passably healthy pizza instead of just biscuits :rotfl:
Flat is still good, have Friday off so going to pick up shed (which I suspect is going to follow the wisdom of the fabulous Nora and be a plastic store) and ordered hoover so after the weekend this place will be clean too

Glad the flat is fabI'm sorting my room out too, it's going to be splenduous when it's finished
I've already opened up over half the floor space from moving stuff round.
Holiday fund:D:D You deserve one!
Nevermind on the budget this month, shed and hoover are defo worth it and you deserve to have a nice place with pots and plants and no dust

LOL Kerri not cooking properly basically refers to emergency pizza/ beans on toast when no veg with it/ tonight's oatcakes, cheese and carrots - just means not a balanced homecooked meal as I would have in the fantasy life where I am the blonde Nigella :rotfl:
I like yoga, haven't done it for ages as haven't found a class that really suited. Might look. Poledancing muscles have been rather underutilised as the unpacking distracted from the practice, but although I skived the last couple of weeks classes I have been good and booked a lesson for tomorrow - this is also MSE as it's the second one due from my Groupon and therefore free, I figured saving £20 on the classes was sensible if I could do a lot of the learning that way and needed to nag myself into reminding tutor about it - I am carp at pointing out to people they have agreed to stuff or owe me money. And saying no, which would seem to be why I've agreed to go into work first thing tomorrow when I'm on leave. Will only do that meeting and escape though, and did walk out on time today. As one wise real-life friend has suggested, I should just put myself in front of a mirror and practice til I learn to say "No". :doh: No I can't, No I don't want to, No it is not convenient, No that's not acceptable, No it isn't possible, No that is not reasonable, No I won't, No b****er off, No without any thank you. No. No. No."
Am feeling much more relaxed the last couple of days, tidying the flat and garden has really helped the look of it and now that I know the last few things can be disappeared I feel happy that it's all just tweaking and move is essentially over. The drive to work is so much faster than I expected - I can basically do it in 15 mins - and I still love how quiet it is and how everything I need is here and right to hand. The tv has gone off again as I'm reading and doing stuff instead.
MSE wise today was not NSD as planned, though have managed to take lunch to work every day this week... escaped to buy vitamins this pm as needed after drama and also got a decent coffee as hadn't had one since the weekend. Grocery budget doing quite well though as haven't been to Sainsbugs since last week. Reconsidering clothes challenge though as having looked at summer clothes I am going to need a couple of work dresses and to replace all my sandals(I have my eye on a rather cute jersey dress in FatFacial which I will be trying on at the weekend
)
In honour of my ambition to deal with mornings and my 9am meeting I am going to sign off here at 2245 though :eek: (that's afternoon in my normal schedule) and my annoyance at missing out on gossip here and on fb will motivate me to actually go to bed and go to sleep *she says determinedly*

Rosa, I know we're not meant to be spending money at the moment, but I spotted this offer on the grabbit and had to share it with you: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/51642581#Comment_51642581 It's £100+ worth of gardening accessories for £14.94. You've probably got all the bits and pieces you need, but thought I'd show you anyway
