There's a lot of lurgy around at the mo - Mr LW and I have both got the sniffles, and I washed 21 hankies this morning! Personally, I recommend soup. My HM potato & pasta soup for preference, perhaps with a spot of Tabasco added, but other than that, whatever soup you can lay hands on.;)
Islandmaid sorry, I was so busy wallowing in my own misery earlier that I didn`t check yesterdays thread and have only just cottoned on to the fact that you lost your gorgeous boy:( really sad news.
play happily on Rainbow Bridge Bruno xx

made myself cry now...blimey I really need to get a grip:o
*nods* I only have to see/hear the words "Rainbow Bridge" to tear up. Still missing Penny-dog, 9 years later.:(

    Hi all,

Thank you all for your thoughts and wishes xx

We buried Bruno today, a nice sunny spot in the garden - bless him:A

I know it sounds silly over a cat, but he was very loved and loving.

I hope all of you going though a bad times or supporting a loved one are okay.

Not feeling the love for cooking tonight - will bung in sausage and chips for kids.

    Take care all xx
'Tis not silly. Furbabies are beloved family members, the same as anyone else.:o

Haven't been on here today due to several things.
    1. DGD3 aged 6wks has been vomiting for 2 days. Dr. said to wait for another 24hrs before she will do anything.
    2. I've had GDG 2 for the last 2 days due to DD2 & DGD3 having little or no sleep.
    3. Tried to take up carpet and floorboards in main bedroom ready for Panel man to fit Solars then rewire tomorrow but with help from a very tired DGD2 it has been a Doddle (not).
    4. DH has been busy all day packing up the old roof to take to recycle first thing tomorrow because fitters need the space in the drive to off load from the juggernought. (sp)
    5. We have DNiece & her DH & their 2yr old and 3mth old visiting on Thursday as well as DD2 & DGD £ & DGD3 after I'm going to take DGD2 to her swimming lesson with DD so I can look after DGD 3 ( baby Olivia) . We have to leave at 8.15am to make the swimming lesson.

Hope you're keeping up with this post because I may need an update from you so I know where I should be and at what time.:o

I talked DH into putting off his family gathering that was planned for this Saturday for later in the month or do a pre Xmas meet up.

I'm off to tidy the kitchen, put food in the freezer, then plan to lie down in a dark room and listen to the voices in my head, and try to follow the Orbs. x

Dear Betheebee, if this goes on it's not the voices in your head you will have to worry about, it's the men in white coats. Goodness me girl, I know you love your family to bits but isn't there anyone else who could lend a hand? It's too much for one person. Just reading about it wears me out. I must go and lie down.

  • i have told her before Monnogran as I am worried about her burning herself out:o Beth I know you like to feel needed by your family and you obviously are but try not to do so much...you haven`t been well yourself. Everyone has no sleep when they have kids at first and it hasn`t killed anyone yet......I have had a couple of hours sleep a night if lucky for 8 years and I am still here..just ..lol:cool:
Please slow down lovey, you still need investigating for your kidney prob and you could do without getting run down as well x
