    Personal Challenges :starmod:

    Monday Pollyanna Day
Have rung a friend to wish her a happy holiday later this week. Am seeing DH's being away tonight as an opportunity for a pampering soak in the tub & a good nights sleep without having to wear earplugs!

    Tuesday Go outside Day
I want you to spend 10 minutes today outside (or looking through the window) enjoying the season. Look at the birds, the beauty of the plants in your garden even those which are stripped bear. Whilst you are out there see if there are any evergreens, seedheads, berries which you will be able to use for Christmas decorations. If you don’t have a garden then a brief stroll somewhere close by would be good.

    Preparing for Christmas Challenges:rudolf:

    Monday dates
[STRIKE]Advent starts next Thursday, have you got your calendars or candles?[/STRIKE]
Check this link for last posting dates for parcels and overseas mail and all other mail.
[STRIKE]When is the last date for ordering your turkey?[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Can you book an online delivery slot yet?[/STRIKE]

    Tuesday outfits
Check any outfits you need for parties over the festive period. Do they need cleaning, check buttons and hems. Do you have the shoes/bag/accessories to hand.
Have you got to prepare a costume for the Christmas play?
Even if you are not going out for Christmas could you wear a favourite outfit at home?

    love to all,

TBH, I love freshly ironed stuff, but I'm always putting it off in favour of everything else. Perhaps I will get back into doing it soon.

Well, got back from the club and Minion hadn't even noticed the tidiness of downstairs when KH dropped her back. Hmmph. She has therefore retreated to a safe distance (her bedroom) for the night.

The cats claimed that, yet again, they hadn't been fed for years, despite being fed posh food before I left. So I chucked a lump of minced beef on each plate (it's cheaper than posh cat food and I'm going to experiment with a bit of raw fooding/BARF for the little SUPERPOWERED SWEAR FILTER ACTIVATED darlings)

You could hear the chirruping in amazement at this stuff they dream about appearing on their plates. It's gone very, very quiet now, though. :)

Got a major case of hunger rumbles at the moment. I've had plenty to eat today as well - fresh bread, tomato soup, a sandwich, a banana.

Why, oh why haven't I bought chocolate and bourbon yet?
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

  • Having spent the last week de cluttering my very untidy house I am on a mission to kep it looking that way!!! It is never going to be a show home as there is between 5 & 7 of us living here but a bit of organisation wouldn't hurt! I am a terrible hoarder too but the house just isn't big enough and has too many of us living in it to cope with that so I need to be strict with myself!!!

so, please count me in! With a 9, 7, 5 and 4 year old and 17 week old baby I may only get to level one but it would be a good start!!!

    Morning All

SW this evening and then I need to drop my niece's birthday present off so I'll have to wrap it in a minute. Other than that I should have some time this evening to get some stuff done although I'm expecting DD to be either quite clingy or pretty obnoxious and not getting much sleep as she's got to go into hospital tomorrow to have some teeth out and she's really scared about it.

I think I'll go and do a HHI now and then that's one thing off the list at least.

    Have a good day all

I really must get to town this morning. I took 4 old rolls of undeveloped film I found in the drawer into the photoshop and they will be ready. They are charging for processing only and then I can choose any photos I want printed.

    Have a good day flyers.

    morning everyone

:rotfl:I'm 51 years old, and I'm totally thrilled to have earned a star and a reindeer from Dusty already this week ... I mean a 'big :) inside' thrilled lol how sad am I? :o

AND I can earn another star by watching my birds for 10 minutes ...which I love doing - there's Harry Spadger and his mates, one of whom is called Mavis and is a bit of a thug; then there's Doug and Dora Dove, and last but not least Freddie Fatbelly. ( And those of you who hadn't already guessed that I am a tad eccentric, now think I'm a complete headcase ;) hehe)

As for flying: I'm up ( which is always a good start!); I've made the beds and eaten breakfast. I'll get dressed and do my dailies first.

Love, hugs, spoons and sticks to all as required xx
