Monday Pollyanna Day
Let’s try to start the week in a really positive way. If you have never read the book Pollyanna then you’ve missed a real treat! If you have you will know the idea. Today I want you to play Pollyanna:
Pollyanna's philosophy of life centres on what she calls "The Glad Game", an optimistic attitude she learned from her father. The game consists of finding something to be glad about in every situation. It originated in an incident one Christmas when Pollyanna, who was hoping for a doll in the missionary barrel, found only a pair of crutches inside. Making the game up on the spot, Pollyanna's father taught her to look at the good side of things—in this case, to be glad about the crutches because "we didn't need to use them!"

Monday Pollyanna Day
When my DH came home & plonked a binbag full of cheese on my clean & tidy work surface I was glad that I'd cleaned out the fridge so I had room to put the cheese in there and glad that I now possess a seriously heavy duty bin bag for when I need one:rotfl:
Tuesday Go outside Day
I want you to spend 10 minutes today outside (or looking through the window) enjoying the season. Look at the birds, the beauty of the plants in your garden even those which are stripped bear. Whilst you are out there see if there are any evergreens, seedheads, berries which you will be able to use for Christmas decorations. If you don’t have a garden then a brief stroll somewhere close by would be good.
Going to take the dog to the forest later

I've just had another Pollyanna moment...when I realised that over the past six months I've: been made redundant from a job that I loved; lived on a building site while I had a new kitchen, bathroom, central heating system and fireplace fitted (that's why so much stuff still 'lives' in the Tardis aka shed); and survived 'empty nest syndrome' with my one and only DS going to Uni leaving me home alone, and I'm still functioning quite well :T Prozac rules lol
I've done my dailies, and brought in the bins. Next I'm going to:
Send for DS's racing licence 2012
Sort out where I am with the rent
Write out an order for my Christmas catalogue
so that's HHP starting at 11 am then. Anyone want to join me by doing something they've been putting off too?
Just time to make a cuppa first. xxIT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme
