Just the dailies done this morning before I went out.

But this evening a new guy came to see about laying the flooring. YAY! Its being laid tomorrow and he knocked money off because of where I work. So quite a rush tonight to shift stuff. Grandson has been and lifted the carpet so thats gone. Spare room stuffed to the gills including the cat poor soul.

    Normal flying will resume soon.

    Hugs and spoons where needed.

    Wednesday Health Check
When life is busy it is easy to forget to keep an eye on your own health but it is so important. So today I want those breasts checked ladies and I can think of no excuses. Now is also a great time of year to get appointments at dentists and opticians if you are overdue a visit as they get lots of cancellations. Have you stashed your supplements away at the back of a cupboard hoping they will work by osmosis?

    Preparing for Christmas Challenges:rudolf:

Check this link for last posting dates for parcels and overseas mail and all other mail. done

Even if you are not going out for Christmas could you wear a favourite outfit at home? mmmmm dont know

Wednesday season of goodwill and forgiveness
Simple one today for you all, I want you to forgive yourself for something you have done in the past (distant or more recent). It can be a bad decision you made, something you said, something you didn’t do. Stop it being in your head. Accept that you are human, you made a mistake and you completely forgive yourself for it. Now enjoy your day.

  • Good Evening everyone

Congratulations AJ on passing your piano exam - playing the piano is something I have always wanted to do.

I am back to flying after a few days where I was working and de-cluttering but not managing the lists. I actually slept last night and feel better today and the builder has been today to confirm that work starts next Monday - I now have to clear up as he is knocking through first as access will be blocked as soon the garage door is bricked up.

I have 5 bags for charity in the car to be dropped off tomorrow on the way to the hospital and I put another sack full out for the lifeboat collection yesterday. I may only get the challenges and Level 1 flying done this week but better than nothing.

Right off to find lists then to find some food as I am starving now.

Freegle/freecycle wire and plastic ones. eBay wooden or fabric ones. I always get lots of takers for wire and plastic ones when I offer them. Dry cleaners also take their own plastic ones back, and usually wire ones as well.

Nothing much achieved here today apart from not making it worse. Went into the office to see the pension guy who was bored due to cancellations but hopefully I cheered him up by changing some of the funds my pension is invested in - a nice new ethical one and some interesting stuff in Asia. I'll leave it alone now for a couple of years, I just need to decide whether to increase my contributions or save more elsewhere...

    Personal Challenges :starmod:

    Monday Pollyanna Day
Let’s try to start the week in a really positive way. If you have never read the book Pollyanna then you’ve missed a real treat! If you have you will know the idea. Today I want you to play Pollyanna:

Pollyanna's philosophy of life centres on what she calls "The Glad Game", an optimistic attitude she learned from her father. The game consists of finding something to be glad about in every situation. It originated in an incident one Christmas when Pollyanna, who was hoping for a doll in the missionary barrel, found only a pair of crutches inside. Making the game up on the spot, Pollyanna's father taught her to look at the good side of things—in this case, to be glad about the crutches because "we didn't need to use them!"

    Tuesday Go outside Day
DONE - Walked into town by the river - managed to knock 5 mins off my time and it didn't hurt too much until I was nearly back at work.
