Declutter misson:
Despite the promises decades ago that we were heading for a paperless world it doesn’t seem to have arrived! Today declutter paperwork, from files, intrays, magazines etc. Do you still have the receipts from last Christmas stuffed in a drawer? Leaflets for places you will never visit; recipes you will never make get rid of it all.

Wednesday Health Check
When life is busy it is easy to forget to keep an eye on your own health but it is so important. So today I want those breasts checked ladies and I can think of no excuses. Now is also a great time of year to get appointments at dentists and opticians if you are overdue a visit as they get lots of cancellations. Have you stashed your supplements away at the back of a cupboard hoping they will work by osmosis?
Preparing for Christmas Challenges
Monday dates
Check this link for last posting dates for parcels and overseas mail and all other mail.
When is the last date for ordering your turkey?
Can you book an online delivery slot yet?
Tuesday outfits
Check any outfits you need for parties over the festive period. Do they need cleaning, check buttons and hems. Do you have the shoes/bag/accessories to hand.
Even if you are not going out for Christmas could you wear a favourite outfit at home?
Wednesday season of goodwill and forgiveness

My extra jobs today:
1) stick down that loose bit of wallpaper in the hall
2) fill those screw holes in the bathroom wall
3) touch up the scuffed paintwork before it gets worse.
Does anyone else have little jobs like that?Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -
Quickly grabbing a couple of Furball's sticks to throw for the BD that has returned from fetching last week's sticks...had bad dreams and woke up beating myself up for the state I'm in, and the state the house is in
then read Dusty's challenge  ....dang spyders at work, I reckon. So, deep breath, this is where I'm at, so this is where I start from -how I got here is yesterday's news, there's nothing I can do to change the past, but I can work at improving today and I can start by forgiving me.
And, flyladies all, I'd like to thank you for being inspirational and motivational; for not airbrushing your lives; for doing the best you can with the hand you've been dealt; I think you are all wonderful.
Right, I need to take a bath, get dressed and do my dailies. See you later xxIT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme0 -

Oh yes, Christmas, little niggly jobs that won't take five minutes, but somehow never get done...and niggle away every time you walk past. Go for it, gal xxIT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme0 -

I doubt there's many who don't (actually on a particular day in I think the autumn of 2006 Hex did have a moment when everything was done - I live in awe and inspiration of that moment:rotfl::p)
That is why lots of people create a Toots list - it is exactly that, a list of everything that needs doing.
Condensation city here today. All dried up now.
Just having a cuppa then I'm hitting the shops in another town, aim to get a coulple of little presents and various other bits.
See you all later. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Back from the hospital with DS so he has gone to school - he did really well today so I'm really proud of him. :rotfl:Hmm let me think, skirting board been waiting to be stuck back on behind unit for 2 years, glossing upstairs been waiting a year, landing and stairs finally got emulsioned, only been waiting 7 years Oh the joy of been married to a profesisonal (sp) decorator.
:rotfl: Next in line brand new kitchen floor but needs levelling first. Hate the one we have now but made do on the cheap when finally got kitchen done, the kitchen took 3 years. Thinking of breaking the bank after christmas and having karndean flooring in living room through into conservatory and kitchen. Costs a fortune but cheaper than a solid wood floor which i can't have due to conservatory:( south facing and no heating inand not closed off, it's part of room and too many fluctuations in temperature for real wood. Finally realised that it's not cost effective to do things on cheap so hoping this floor will last 20 years. Had 3 floors down in 10 years though one was due to building work.
Also been waiting for new fence that is not my boundry fence but belongs to 3 neighbours who's gardens are sideways to me for 10 years. Sick of it looking such a mess and it has got me down so much that the garden is suffering now. Had that priced up and its few hundred quid, mentioned it to neighbours but no offer of part payment or help so going to bite the bullet and pay for fence next year BUT i am having the fence i want not what matches their gardens. If they don't like it they can lump it, (only 1 neighbour is a pain though, the others are elderly dears and i like them
Oops sorry for rambling.
