Thank you to let us know your case
Another case to confirm that some people have experienced the same problems ....
I have a verified PayPal account with two credit cards registered (not expired) & when I recently made a purchase on ebay the only payment option was instant bank transfer. The option to pay by credit card has disappeared.

    Thanks sharpy
Just try to understand this problem with case and the case of few people "do you have verified Bank a/c ?" ....

If you do next payment please let us know the position of this option on the screen.

In the past I have the option to switch between using bank a/c or CC. But since early last month this option has disappeared. Unless they have changed the payment screen recently that I did not notice. Few more people have similar problem

    Thanks in advance

I think section 75 only goes one level deep anyway, so it wouldn't matter.
  • For those who want to pay via Paypal with a credit card, try the following which worked for me today.

    Click on 'Pay Now'.
On the 'Review your purchase' screen, click on 'Continue'.
    Sign in to Paypal.
On Paypal's 'Review your information' screen, click on the 'Change' link adjacent to 'Payment method'.
From the funding options, choose credit/debit card and click on 'Continue'.
Then click on 'Continue' and 'Confirm payment'.

I use 2 CCs with PayPal. A great service but I use a PAYG SIM for contact as I feel I can't trust them as they seem to be a shower of thick-accented numpties with recent experience. They struggle to answer an email properly. A few years back all was good but they must have operators on the far edge of the world now.

Not much choice if you like eBay and I'd certainly never give them bank details for automated debits (if I had to then I'd set up a separate current account and load cash into that).
  • I have never had any issues paying with CC attached to paypal as I tend to use it for people I have not purchased from in the past.

Not all purchased can be put on CC as some dealers/sellers don't accept it.

They may use the balance in your Paypal account first, to which the only response is that Paypal are not a bank ....

Paypal is a bank. It holds a Luxembourg banking licence. It could not operate in Europe without one.

I got this screen early last month but but now that option is already gone, so I will not be able to change the payment option rathe than using instnat transfer.

Credit is only used as back up source whne there is not enught fund available in the bank account
