    Morning all.

Got the dreaded father in law coming today, first time since before xmas, he completly does my head in!! Always moaning and going on and he is so loud!!
Think it because im getting worked up about him coming to mess my routine up that me and dh have fell out this morning before he went to w**k!! Over something so stupid(booking the car in at the dealers). But must not let it bother me or ill never get through the in-law visit!!!!;)

Other than that i am going for a coffee with a friend first thing after school, calm before the storm, and then home to quick tidy round and ebay parcel wrap, will nip post office on way to pick up dd from nursery then home to a afternoon of living hell!!!!!!!

Hope you all have a good day!

    Morning all

Had a weekend of feeling "icky" so didn't achieve as much as I set out too. I did however manage to get 3 Xmas pressies sorted.....We have a Whittards Outlet shop near here and they were doing their lovely "dip and chip" bowls from £15 to £3!!! That's PIL and friends sorted. Popped to Homebase for some bath sealant and picked up a 18 segment storage box to do one of those lovely sweetie boxes on the other thread...paid with a Spend and Save voucher so effectivly free :j

Got DD's doing a mini flylady thing - Told them that on the hour, every hour I would walk into each of their rooms and find 10 things to throw away.....on the half hour they had to find 5 things to throw away - worked well - 2 black sacks later and they actually found carpet!!!!!

DH dug all the grotty sealant out from around the bath and cleaned it all up but left me to do the actual resealing - not the best job in the world but it's clean and water tight.

Got a huge lump of pork left from last nights roast - not quite sure what to do with it - any suggestions? My mind seems to have gone blank - mind you - that's par for the course these days.

Hope you all have a great day and hugs to those in need.

    Morning all.

Hugs to everyone who needs them.

This will be a very short post as I have woken up with a migraine. The visuals have now gone enough for me to see the screen but my head feels like it is about to implode. I should count myself lucky though. I haven't had one for about two months. I normally get them in the summer when the light is brighter.

    Good Morning All

    Hope you had great weekends.
DLB - hope through you get through the visit.
Angelselondon - sorry but we were very happy with the football result!

Not sure what am doing today, should really be getting my nose down in the office but think OH wants me to go with him to get a van looked at. Will see what he says when he gets up. Not done anything this morning yet - had a lie in till 6.30 and been getting dressed and all that. Now DD has finished her breakfast will make lunches, empty dw and wm and clean kitchen.

Best get off then - have a great day.

Oh and pork belly strips in sage/onion stuffing for tea.

  • Morning all :D

Well a very good OS weekend for me :A I finally finished the kitchen deep clean and used the washing powder solution to clean by awful cooker shelves and I must say it worked a treat. Even DH was impressed saying that soon enough we'll need nothing but stardrops, washing powder and microfibres under the sink!

Also managed to do my first ever roast dinner yesterday all by myself (I even made yorkies) and it turned out fantastically well! And if that wasn't enough I even volunteered to do the ironing last night when I was watching the BB Final :T

I think I may need a rest this week! but alas no - I think I have found my get up and go back so loads of things planned for this week and I will (I will) start my college stuff that needs to be done

Off to catch up on how everyone elses weekend was, so as always take or leave the :grouphug: as needed.

  • Morning everyone,

Feeling very down at the mo. Argument with DB on Friday night continued on Sunday morning when he phoned to sort things out. He didn't seem to understand why I was upset that decisions are being made and carried out without me being told. I am putting the same amount of money into this project as everyone else but am not being given the chance to agree or disagree with their decisions. Somehow I have also managed to upset my mum which is making me feel really bad too. Sorry, sorry. Don't mean to drag the mood of the thread down.

Off to w**k this morning then orthodontist with DS this pm, go to post office to collect parcel that they tried to deliver on Saturday morning, then pick DD up from school - she has football practice again.

Hope everyone has a good day. Moggins hope the migraine lifts soon. I haven't had any since I stopped working full time but I know how debilitating they can be. (((hugs))) xx
