As for the Audits... well... considering we judge thousands of pages, how a sample of 10 or more (before they count) per week can be seen as a reliable indicator of performance is somewhat confusing to me.

Although it's true not all pages are used for the metrics, it's not only the audits that are a factor in them. Usually, all of your audits, real time audits, and a number of undisclosed ratings are a factor. I don't know the exact number, but I've been told something like 10% of each week's ratings.

Ofcourse, there is no way to verify this, but that's what I was told by management.

And yes, the metrics really are down to luck for some... I've learned that the best way is to really spend a long time on the first hour of work each day, and speed up toward the end of the week. The early queries tend to be the priority pages to rate, and ofcourse for some Friday is RTA day, which is where you should be spending double time to rate pages. It might lower your RPH, but if you speed through the less important pages (you'll know when you see them) it should even out.

    Thanks for the reply Maktina

I have to admit though that if that is the case, I am even more confused by the metrics.

According to the last DART report my stats are only based on just under 40 Audits (RTA and the Manual Ones), and in the same period I completed approx. 2,000 judgments, as such, according to Dart only 2% of the pages I rated were actually subject to review.

Hi have just been notified that I passed the SLR and can now return. However, have just looked at the new metrics and it appears I have 3 missed! Considering I haven't worked for the last week, they must be counting the metrics from last time again this time! Anyway, what happens in this situation please? Removed again? lol. Thanks

Exactly the same here! Did less than four hours for the week so wouldn't have thought that would be a fair sample of my work, but I can get back in as well now - though no work there to do .

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a large amount of bad results today? And yesterday I was getting loads of PDNLs...

Anyone else been getting loads wrong?! Only done one hour so far and must've made at least 5 appeals already. REALLY don't want this to be my last week..
  • Me too Mailrat. Feeling rather deflated. Sigh!

I hate Friday's too. Should be the best day of the week but I actively dread it because of the RTAs...

The system also seems to be working really slowly for me, not sure if it's my laptop playing up though..

I actually seriously dislike some websites - why so much advertising? It has made meeting the speed requirements really hard.

Suspect I will be VERY close to being removed next week, as I have not done well on the Audit front this week.

I will wait in dread for Monday...
  • Agree with you 271... the system is slow. My laptop works fine when I'm not working and using different browsers. We will see what Monday brings. Que sera sera.
