Even though I got through with LF, I did my 2nd ABH test just to see how I'd do. I passed every single aspect, well below the thresholds, apart from a 0.07 above one of them, so that was an overall fail :rotfl: The standards there are crazy.

Gutted to get an email last night to say I'm out! Two days notice and I finish on Friday :(
Not because of my work apparently and no fault of mine (daren't say any more here).
Ah well, it was good while it lasted, back to the drawing board now.

Aargh, no!! And you'd only been here a couple of months at the most, right? Things seem SO insecure right now with this company.. I really feel like I'll be lucky to get to the end of the month at the moment. Have you already worked for LB and LF? Cos I think I recognise your name from both of those threads.. Really sorry to hear this, and I hope you're successful in finding something else. Not a nice thing to happen at all. I think giving two days notice is a pretty poor show and demonstrates a general lack of consideration on their part.

As MallRat has said, things seem to be increasingly insecure with Appen right now. I am very doubtful I will be working for them for much longer. Things do appear to be doing downhill rapidly.

I am currently taking part in the exam process for LF, although I failed first time which I was gutted about. They are letting me retake it. Things seem so insecure will all the companies at the moment. After 7 years of working from home I have managed to secure a "real" job after Appen dropped me. Need something else as working from home has no guarantees anymore. Best of luck to all of you.
