Any suggestions ??? Low cal ones would be great as don't want to eat too many apple pies. If it's elsewhere on the forum let me know !!

I'm hopeless at searching but I'm sure someone will be along with links soon.

Baked apples or stewed (with sweetener) can be quite low calories as a pudding.

What I've done is make up braised red cabbage with apples and onions and sweetener and freeze it in portions. I used a Slimming World recipe. Or you can freeze the apples slightly cooked down and then use them gradually through the next few months.

After making sure your apples are sound,IE not bruised at all. Wrap in newspaper and store in a dark, cool dry place. This way you can have your own apples throughout the winter months x

Yes, there is another thread, but it is very long!
If you feel it is worth the energy, consider drying.
I have used my "slow drawer", some use an airing cupboard; some heat oven to say 60 degrees just before going to bed, then let the apples dry in falling oven overnight.
You can dry slices, or kids like rings: use a corer, then peel and slice into rings.
Dried apples are yummy to snack, or use in porridge, cakes etc. BUT you do have to think about how much energy you may use!

This is a preserve that's lovely on toast or mixed into porridge. There's no fat at all and only half the sugar that there is in jam etc. Uses up tons of apples quickly & is very easy to make as you don't need to peel or core the apples. You can use a mouli, or even a food processor, instead of a sieve, and plain sterilised recycled jam jars instead of canning jars.

We've got a bumper crop, and we don't know what to do with them all. We've been peeling and cutting these things all day. There is not a lot of room left in the freezer. There are still a lot of apples up on the trees.

    Apple sauce,
    Apfelstrudel
    cider
    apple juice
    apple wine
    apple vinegar
apple peel tea - apparently a great favourite of Hitler at his tea house at the Berghof
And, last but not least, target practice for crossbows,
