I freeze mine and make Apple sponge, apple bread which is DH's fave , apple crumble, apple sauce or apple amberBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I make Apple scone, just make up a batch of scone mix but add some apple chunks before the liqued, I make into a scone round .. and mark it out just like a round of shortbread... sprinkle some brown sugar on top and bake till golden#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

i use mine to make apple crumbles
ds3 is going through a stage of biting into every apple in the bowl, i have a feeling crumble most nights is going to affect my waistlineDebt free :beer:

Yes you can make Apple Sauce from them and you don't need as much sugar as they are sweeter that cooking apples. They don't break up as easily, so give them a good mash after they are cooked.
You can cook them in the microwave.
Or you can make Apple Strudel, Apple Pie, Apple Sponge.0 -
