www.lowcostholidays.com only charge 2.5% CC and 1.25% debit card for Ryanair flights.

Whats all this security check stuff ? I have been able to check flights no problem.
I use http://www.ryanair.com/ie (the Irish site) as you can view the whole weeks worth of flights. You do have to be able to add up though, as taxes aren't displayed until you click on a fare.

I do agree it is getting to be a bit of a pain though. Either really cheap fares or they are going to have to have a major shift in attitude. If theres only £5 or £10 in it, Id fly Easyjet or Jet2 and just not have the grief.

I might add, I've always found their cabin crew to be great on board. Its at the airport most of the hassle appears to happen

You're wrong re lowcostholidays. As soon as you select a credit card type you will see an "airline surcharge" appear. When it does so you will note that this surcharge is equal to Ryanairs £6 per person, per leg.

Got the new card easily enough (once I changed browser). Allowed me to book a £26 return flight Edinburgh to Dublin in early December instead of a £38 flight without the card. Aer Lingus were £84 ish return!

    Yes you are right.
That surcharge must have been added in the last couple of days, because it certainly wasn't there on Wednesday or prior to that.

It appeared briefly yesterday, but sales must have taken a dive as they have now removed it.

I've just tried it and it still adds an "airline surcharge" equal to £12 per person, per return journey when that journey is with Ryanair.

The cheapest and the "right size" case is from your local Sports Direct outlet for £9-99 20inch:

I would second Sports Direct, but take a tape measure to make sure you have the right sized one. We bought these some years ago and to make sure they fit we had to take the carry handle off the top.

Just be careful when selecting your case.

I was referring to the verification security stage which appeared earlier yesterday then was removed, not the booking fee.

In the past three year i have used Ryanair something like 25 times, now i will not use them whatsoever.

It is literally too much hassle and going through too many hoops just to book a flight.

Will O'Leary be worried? I very much doubt it, but they have lost, what was once, a regular traveller with them.

Presumably you will stop travelling then? I cannot see someone who used Ryanair 8 times a year suddenly deciding to pay hundreds of £ more because their previous airline brought in a new card!

Flew RA to Berlin last week and even with the booking fee, baggage fee etc etc we still could'nt find the flights cheaper elsewhere, add to that schonefeld is about to become "the" berlin airport.

I think most peoples issue is the potential to avoid the fee's but the hoops you have to jump through, if they just added the £6 on each ticket and didnt mention it no one would know, and therefore, mind
Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right
