Ryanair ---- Now Too Much Hassle?

The truth will be seen if Ryanair continue to use Captcha security or if they drop it as they have done in the past. Screenscrapers help in finding the best fare deals so if Ryanair excludes themselves from this facility so be it.
Just spotted this assessment of the use of Captch tnooz.com/2011/11/25/news/ryanair-captcha-move-disruptive-but-not-impossible/0 -

I haven't booked on a site abroad, but I have however noticed that the prices are cheaper - the same number in pounds on the UK site as in euros on the others.
So for trips that aren't at rock bottom prices it might be worth booking a return trip in 2 legs. I'd imagine that the foreign exchange costs wouldn't reach 15%0 -
Ok everyone, now listen up nicely and Auntie Lutz is going to tell you all how to pay with the old UK prepaid mastercard and avoid paying the fees. Just remember to say thank you, please
.
First, I always book my return flights separately because then you get to pay in euros rather then pounds, which saves around 10%. I booked some flights this week on the UK RA site from a European destination to the UK, using a prepaid mastercard registered to a UK address. No fees were charged.
Secondly I then hit upon seeing what would happen if I used one of the foreign RA sites to book my outward flights. Again, no fees were payable.
Simples!
Edit - I use the cash passport issued by a leading UK travel agency
Second edit I have just tried it again and it no longer works on booking flights starting out from UK whether you book them on the UK or a foreign site, so that must have been a glitch earlier this week, but it does still work on the return leg, whether you book it on the UK site or a foreign one. So at least that's a saving of £6 perperson, and you can use up the balance on your prepaid mastercard.Hope is not a strategy.0 -
I`m not going to jump through hoops for O`Leary and his endless obstacles and he can stick his latest card as well.
I already got the Electron and then the Fairfx but enoughs, enough.
I`ll search for a flight and compare it to other airlines after adding on the £12.
A thing not mentioned very often is the cheapest flight may not be the cheapest overall deal.
There`s other things to consider such as parking, or other transport to where you`re flying from.
For me, because of the parking, Birmingham is cheaper than Luton or Stansted.
The flight is not the only consideration.0 -
Thats exactly what I intend to do 2010..........
There is absolutely no way that I am going to get his latest card.
I agree, enoughs, enough now.
I will compare flight prices at the bottom line, then book with the cheapest offering.
I have been an avid supporter of Ryanair for a few years now....but this latest round of p*ssing about
has really annoyed me.
Take note Ryanair cos we 'ain't the only ones !!!0 -
O'Leary underestimates the intelligence of others - already his new captcha website has been screen-scraped and his flights are back on sale with a number of online web companies!! Hope he didn't spend too much money doing this!!0

Unless they are really cheap, its just no fun any more. The whole Ryanair experience has become a complete pain in the ar5e
Thats the problem though. For where I want to go, Easyjet + Jet2 are almost DOUBLE the price.0 -
And the other problem with Easyjet is all that orange, I keep thinking I'm in Sainsbury's0
