As the original poster of this thread, I'm keen to see what you people get back! I haven't got an ipod nano but when I saw the news article I wanted to tell fellow MSEs about it.... here's hoping you all get shiney new ipods :-) please let me know!

Am i the only person who wants the original generation one back? I'm not keen on the new one, if i get a new one i'll be wishing i never sent the old one back.

As i had not used it in a few years and had always kept it in a case, it was in minty mint condition, ah well.

The new nano's have all so far been received in the USA and Canada, there have been no reports of 6th Gen's being sent out in the UK so far.

Just checked again and although I sent the 4 ipods back that we had on 20th November, nothing tracked for ages on thier status site until eventually 3/4 showed as received 14th Dec, issue identified and product replacement pending. The 4th one still shoes as box shipped.

Getting worried now about the 4th one! Fingers X after xmas this one catches up

If you got a receipt from the Post Office like Apple mentioned in their return package you should be OK for any losses .

I requested a replacement back 13 November and to date i am still waiting for the box to return it. I have spoken to Apple 3 times now and they say they have a big back log and the box will be sent soon. They said i have to wait 10 days for the box to arrive and then at least 6 weeks for the replacement. The customer service i have received from Apple has been really bad. I must be one of the few people who still used mine on a daily basis and really miss using it.
