Got my bag today to return my ipod, going to send it off tomorrow, lets see how long it takes

Got our 4 bags and will be posting each one off tomorrow - not bad for 4 refurbished nano's to get brand new or even refurbished ones again 5-6yrs down the line. Happy with that (altho kids had visions of getting the new one as a replacement!)

I sent mine back, but it does not seem to have been received by apple.

Does anybody know what I would have to do to chase this up, I have the proof of posting.

I have rang the post office, but the package is not trackable because it is just a return package.

Did you post yours via the post office or arrange an uplift with DHL?

Scotch that, just re read the instructions lol. DHL is for Ireland....

same as me, sent it back 10 days ago, post office tracking says:

Item XXXXXXXXXXGB was posted at xx xxxxxx xxx xxx xxx on 26/11/11 and is being progressed through our network for delivery

my progress on the apple website just says empty box shipped

Mine was sent back on the 23rd of November. When I do track and trace on Post Office website it says exactly the same as the above post.. Think this is something to do with sending the item back by return post and not through Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery. Not sure what Apple progress says as my son returned it through his Apple ID, will ask him to check.

Posted mine on the 26th Nov my repair status still has 'Empty box shipped' not been updated yet.

I rang the post office on Friday, you can't track the progress on them as they are only returns. They did say they were busy, but would have expected it to be delivered by now.

With a few of us all having the same problem, it looks like it is probably a problem at apple, no doubt they will have quite a few iPods to process.

I could not find an email address to contact apple, which was surprising and I will wait a few more days to see what happens.
