  • I've just got my package to post off my ipod, i was wondering, do you HAVE to send the ipod box back with it? As it says on the letter to post the nano back in it's box, but i dont have it's box anymore.

Did anyone send the nano without?

i didnt, my letter said not to send anything else but the nano. It was literally just a photocopy of instructions.

There should have been a box as well as the return envelope in the letter you have received off them, that's the box they mean.
    HTH.

Oh right, I got a flat white box and the grey envelope thingy. I didn't think it would protect it very well and was a bad idea but it did get there okay.

same here, no box, jiffy envelope, grey bag.
  • I only got the grey bag too - I'm just going to send the ipod in that, I think.
(I've been taking a lot of train trips over christmas so didn't want to be ipod-less! My little old nano is still going strong so I've never needed to get a replacement.)

the same here but I did put a bit of corrugated card from an after eights box around it to be safe.
  • Thank you OP. Bonus.
I have just found out my daughters original IPod Nano. Screen has been broken for years & was replaced by an iPod touch, then an IPhone. The new replacement will be great to use as a spare etc. The original was a 2G. Is that what the replacement will be? Thanks again.
