Thank you so much for posting on this board. I never look at the techie thread.
I sent off for my envelope on monday, it arrived today and today it went to Apple.
It was a very well used ipod, much loved and in great condition. It is great to see it lasted and did its job for so long!
Waiting patiently for my replacement. Id love to see a new nano, but im so used to the other one a part of me would like a first gen back!!! But i take it back! I want a shiny new one!!

Again, many thanks for posting this on this thread. I applied for my envelope on Wednesday, it arrived Thursday so off went a nano that had been sitting in a drawer for over 2 yrs.

applied for this on 18th November, got return envelope within a few days. returned straight away and im still waiting

just checked my status and it says my ipod was received on 17th December! Hoping that is just an internal timeframe and not due to royal mail, otherwise im outside their 10 day return schedule

i requested a return pack over a month ago and still haven't recieved it. just gone back on to apple site to put serial no. in and get a new envelope pack sent out but it wont let me as it says 'this serial no. has a return pending'.

Any ideas on how i can get another envelope pack sent out (it says you can't send in any old envelope - has to be there one). I have tried to find an email address and can't. Have also tried various phone numbers but can never get through and don't want to be on hold paying for ages and ages.
Might just give up and keep my dodgy old nano at this rate and cross my fingers it doesn't burn my house down!

Any help appreciated..

Mine last updated to Product replacement pending on the 10th December hopefully it wont be much longer before it gets here!

My packet (it says box but was actually a padded envelope) came the day after I submitted the request, that was sent off with proof of posting yesterday so now I play the waiting game...

The lasy at the post office said "oh another iPod!" so I can imagine there'll be a fair few coming to Llandaff...
