Here's another good laugh for you all today
I just popped out to ASDA after realising I didn't have any fresh veggies at all. Other than the veggies I picked up a couple of organic chicken legs half price, and when I got home I peeled back the label to see what cooking suggestions it might have. Anyway, there are grilling instructions, roasting instructions, and then last but by no means least, the casserole instructions, which are...

Have got a load of washing dry and just had a huge home made chicken lasagne which everyone enjoyed.
Just read www.thetimesonline and they have a story about Operation Winter Willow which starts on Tuesday and is an exercise to test readiness for a flu pandemic.
Comments like "flu is a greater threat to Britain at the moment than terrorism" startled DH so much that he drove me to the supermarket to stock up on food and bottled water!
Just glad I have stocked up the cupboards with rice, pasta, spices etc. as with six of us in the house we run through stuff very fast.

good evening fellow os'ers,
well i have finally done the dreaded budget for the month and its actually looking quite good. what amazed me even more is that i managed to pay off £735.86 of my debts what a good feeling, sorry but i just had to share this with you all.
going out shortly to deliver a birthday card to a friend who's birthday is tomorrow.
and i am quite annoyed at myself because today whilst at mr t's i picked up two packets of chicken balmoral for a fiver i thought we will have that for tea tonight.
so i took it out of them fridge to discover the packets consisted off in total 4 small chicken breasts with a slice of haggis in each of them and two very small pouches of peppercorn sauce. now im not an expert but im fairly sure i could make them a whole lot cheaper the only thing that would stump me would be the peppercorn sauce? any ideas?? A fiver for that i cant believe how stupid i have been.........
regards

Hiya all, omg i am freezing, just back from the cairngorms mountain in aviemore, went up to the top in the funnicular railway and loved every min of it:D took ds1's and ds2's friend up with us and he loved it too!
Went to the ptarmigan restaurant for a snack ,boys had muffins, i had sandwich and some hot chocolate, tasty mmm
Me and the boys ( not lo) went out on to the viewing terrace and the wind chill factor was -10! boys were loving it, windy and rain was blowing in my face, they were having a snowball fight, came back in as the cold was unbearable but they wanted out again! so went out a second time!
There is so much snow up there!
Heres some pics from the top:
