    good morning all

Had a cuppa and read of the paper (for a change!)

Plans for today - take kids out somewhere, maybe go to Bethnal green Museum of Childhood since its been re-vamped or maybe down to Thames Barrier Park if its not too cold for a run around and blow out the cobwebs!
either that or we will end up in Pets at Home looking at the bunnies & fish again!:rotfl:

    thanks n9eav for the 25!

hope everyone has a lovely day x

Morning all, <<<<< hugs >>>>to all that need it.
All is well this morning. OH is resting and the kids are playing fairly quietly.
We had a no-spend day yesterday and will do the same today.
Right off to decide what's for lunch and prep it.
See you all later, Smoky. xxx

    Morning

Managed a lie in today - DS2 slept till 8.30 then went downstairs to DS1 :D However, they are now playing noisily so it's good job I got up.

Had a great night at the Burns evening dinner dance. Even managed a few reels and jigs, but next time I'll do what everyone else did and take flat shoes for dancing - have a large hole in my tights cos had to dance barefoot.

Today I have to start the ironing mountain and finish cleaning my bedroom. Ds2 is also going to a party, near my mum's house so I'll be doing her ironing whilst waitng for him, although I think the other mum's are going to the local posh coffee bar!! Ah well, I promised my mum first :(

About to put the SC on as I have either beef or chicken in the fridge for that purpose and one wll have to go in the freezer. Have lots of veggies to choose from too - yum

Right, gotta get on. Have a great day everyone. Need to get some breakfast down me cos I'm straving (as we say in this house)

    ((hugs)) to all

ps anyone know where I put my business cheque book? No? Give me a shout if ya see it will ya? :rotfl:

    Morning all :hello:

We went to a wedding yesterday, at the reception we had parsnip and rosemary soup, venison and sticky toffee pudding YUM :D First time I've tried the soup, I need to go through the index to see if the recipe is in there, I HAVE to make some :D

I wore high hells (no that's not a typo) and my feet are killing me this morning

I feel hungover which is weird because I hardly had anything to drink, just one bucks fizz and a bacardi and coke, after that I had orange juice or water

I've got a bit of ironing to do. I've taped 3 episodes of CSI so will probably slob out in front of the TV this afternoon.

    Morning all

I think I was climbing Mount Everest in my dreams last night. I have woken up feeling exhausted and I ache all over. I remember waking up at one point to find I had kicked the duvet right off the bed.

I have finally decided I am getting old! I've reached that point where I can remember the past more clearly than the present. The face of an old boyfriend who I haven't seen for 18 years popped as clear as day into my head yesterday, it was weird. I bet he looks no where near as gorgeous now though :D

Well thanks to our 'rude guests' not turning up I now do not have to cook tonight, just reheat up the veg in the micro and put the roast spuds in the romuska to crisp up again so no sweating on the top line, will try and get some more of the back bedroom done.....if we decide not to go out.........

  • Good Morning all,
Some laughs and good thoughts in this thread already this morning - N9eave - love those 25 thoughts, thanks for that.

Donny-gal - "must do my piles":rotfl: :rotfl: Made me think about .... no, it wasn't paperwork shall I say (TMI)!!

Dlb - That leg of lamb, you sounded so proud yesterday and I can just imagine you hacking at it now - sorry lol must have a wicked head on me today. Hope it tastes wonderful anyhow.

DH got very drunk at the bowling with his mates and us - cost a small fortune nearly spent £100. I have never spent that much on a night out before. I didn't really enjoy it cos' i kept thinking about the money! (there was the five of us though and he had had a bonus from work - must keep stressing this to myself!)

Off to a free cinema showing in a mo,the new cinderella at Birmingham so at least it will be a cheap day out and then I'll probably visit my SIL (the one whose lost her sdad and my niece and nephew - so it'll be big hugs all round)

((((Hugs)))) to everyone who needs one or justs wants one and I'll try and catch you all later,
    xxBBxx

    MORNING ALL!

thanks n9eav for the lovely start to the thread:T

Am a bit down in the dumps this morning after DH made a few insensitive comments on how long its taking me to lose weight on my diet:mad: ( have lost 4lbs since the start of January) he thinks that it will motivate me but I've told him a bit of positive support will work much better, he just doesn't realise how I take it to heart and says I'm too sensitive:rolleyes:
Never mind I'm off to work till 10pm tonight so I wont have to put up with him all day!;)

It is my DS1's 17th birthday tomorrow and he's off to Plymouth for a conference and stopping overnight so we'll give him his pressies tonight after work - he came home with his first official business card on Friday which says his name followed by' graphic designer' am so proud:o but feel rather old!:D

Have a great Sunday all and take care

    Morning all

    Hope everybodies well this morning

Not much on today just the normal preparations for the week ahead. Need to nip into town in abit to take back a horrible coat that my inlaws bought my DH. Hopefully I'll be able to get the money back in cash as its from a shop that we would never shop in. I also need to nip into Peacocks and change some underware I bought last week silly me picked up the wrong size.

This afternoon I need to find DD new wellies I have already had the house upside down searching for them they must be here somewhere.

    Have a good day everyone
