Hi everyone!
When you are wanting to update your totals because you've paid off some of your debt then can you please put the total you have managed to pay off against the original amount of the challenge... like in the post below:rubywhatashmoo wrote: »Sooooo I just paid off what my spreadsheet told me I can definitely afford and will hope to top it up further through the month (doesn't seem too likely this close to xmas but we shall see!!)
£150/£1550
If rubywhatashmoo were to pay off a further £200 next week then her to total would read:
£350/£1550
This will make it easier to pick up everyone's totals as this thread is very fast moving and I don't want to miss anyone's totals!!!
If I do, or get something wrong, then please just give me a nudge xxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

All you do is put the total you've paid divided by the original debt amount and then multiply that answer by 100:
e.g. £300/£5070
Put 300 divided by 5070 in your calculator to get 0.0591715. Now multiply this by 100 to get 5.91715% which is 5.92% rounded to 2 decimal places.
Hope this helps!xxx

Best thing about paying some money towards my debts is updating my percentages!! :T0 -
I have just used that calculator, thank you for the link x
And have now realised i need to find £400 a month to pay everything off by Christmas 2012. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks!!!:eek::eek::eek:
Mine is £700... I definitely don't have that spare each month! I might have previously on a good month but the tax we pay has changed so I get about £200 less per month nowBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16
