Great to have you on the team, I've put your names and totals on to the 2nd post.
Keep us updated on any ideas you've had on how you are paying your debts (i.e. ebay/amazon, competitions wins, other challenges, frugal living etc) and your new totals as it encourages us all to keep going!!! Just let me know your new total in large coloured text like this £12657 then I can update the 2nd post.

Dear mf0u1098
Please add me to your challenge with a total figure of £44,700 as at 19.11.2011 - hopefully this time next year there will only be a fraction of this debt.
Thanks,
Irene0 -
Thanks for the welcome, I have (I think) put a signature on now with my total debt and so on. It's all a bit scary, but I really need to get on top of it now after years of just faffing around, making our debt worse and worse. We've consolidated twice in the last 10 years, and still have over £25K of debt (not including the two loans) so the time has come to change.Long haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0

Sorry I didn't mean that to sound so negative, I meant it more in a "come and join in you never know what you might achieve" kind of way
I might wait until after Christmas ...when i have accumulated a bit more debt and then join you all.:rudolf:0 -

Starting to money save and be money smart! :j0 -
Hi All
Can I join too please? I have a total debt of £10,096.72  and I'd like to clear this by Christmas 2012 (sooner if possible!). In a few weeks I will have a lump sum due to me which I intend to pay directly to debts so it will come down hopefully!
So... can you start me off at £10,096.72 please?
Good luck all :T

Welcome the new people...love how popular this is getting it means more encouragement and ideas :T
So far today I've frozen my gym membership so that's an extra £6 a month until I can cancel it completely and traded in my old mobile. Quite impressed I've managed to get £30.50 for it from Asda. Up until I used the MSE comparison, I didn't even know Asda did mobile recycling. :money:
I've also found a load of unopened bedding which I'm going to try and take back to Asda. None of it will fit our current bed, so I'm hoping I can play the "we've been bought this as a house warming, I don't have a receipt, can I have store credit" line and then use the money on some bits for Christmas!
Next on my list is having a sort out of any bits that could go on ebay, and trying to find a way to boost my income by a couple of pounds every day....is there anything that anyone does daily to earn some extra money? I've done surveys before but always end up with loads of spam and dodgy phone calls from them...unless I'm just doing them wrong! :rotfl:Deleting everything to make sure MoneySupermarket don't get any of my personal details to sell to following Martin's sell out move :money:0
