    A bright and cheery debt busting morning to you all :wave:

    I have finally got DH to agree to cancel the additions part of out bank account that is costing us £12.95 per month (plus interest from the overdraft!) we've had the account for 6 years now and ive worked out that we have paid Natwest £932.40 in account fees for . . . . travel insurance for 2 holidays _pale_ Thats my overdraft! :eek:

    Hoping I can get him to go this morning, get it done while hes agreeing

  • Hey all well done for that epic amount of pay-age! we rock :)
    Well I am finally feeling better today after my doldrums week. I knew I was feeling better when I bothered re dyeing my hair last night and now it is red red red! It had gone all dark and manky so now Im BACK LOL
    I appear to have a wallet full of cash! My MIL has given me money to get the kids pressies, £50 to get ME a pressie and I got paid today. I am goimng to go out shopping this morning and try and finish Xmas then any extra £££ will go to Vanquis.
    It is my Daughters 14th birthday party tonight so I have her + 4 friends overnight, + my three little ones, + I thought "if you cant beat them, join them" so I have 3 girlfriends (+ 2 extra little ones) and hubby has 2 friends coming over so hmmmm, I appear to be having a party LOL.
    PMT appears to be abateing now thank god- I had a real rough time this month :( BUT I feel so much better Im off to run the vacuum round and fold some washing so I can fit all these people in my house toinight!

  • Kerri how about saving with a credit union? They are ethical, and with my one at least, you can have lots of 'pots' for various different things. There isn't really an interest rate but they do pay back dividends each year from what profit they make :)

    Have sent you a PM... all CU's work slightly differently but mine can be done all online :)
