    Hi all how goes it?
I'm sorry I haven't been on in what feels like ages but my daughter has been really poorly, then I got an infection in my wisdom tooth (I've given birth twice but never been in so much pain as this) and I'm now on really strong antibiotics that make me feel drunk and muddy headed :-(.Which doesn't help when I'm a stay at home mum of two babies!
To top it all off just had the row of all rows with my other half and am seriously sick of it, I don't feel I can take any more.
But that's enough whingeing from me, I'm gunna crawl under a rock and lick my wounds. I'll be back when I'm feeling a bit more positive!haven't even checked my bank balance let alone paid anything off :-(.
Sorry for the moan, keep up the hard work xx

Oh lulalolly, I'm sorry you're having a tough time ((((((((hugs)))))))) xxx

ARG! Why are some people so annoying! I was just saying how excited I was to get my mum and step-dad Christmas presents from Tesco vouchers and the two guys who sit next to me said that was really stingy! I think its awesome cos I've got them a present they'd like and they wouldn't want me to spend more than I had to.

Wow, they definitely wouldn't like my pressie to my sister and her boyfriend... I am giving them my Tesco vouchers as they always x4 them for going out and things whereas I'm not fussed so normally use it fuel/food. So they are getting £72 worth of pressie in vouchers and I've only spent £18 (well actually since they don't come out my budget then it's like they're free!)

It doesn't matter at all how much you spend on someone as long as what you get them makes them happy. There's too much commercialism at Christmas, too much pressure to create what we are told is the perfect christmas. We all need to remember that christmas is about being with family, for thinking of others and for being happy. Everything else is just secondary! I think your present idea is superb and who will be laughing next year when you are debt free and they are probably still stuck in their own debt hole waiting for their LBM. I'm proud of you hun! :T xxx

ETA: I did ask my sister if she'd like them and she was well happy and has been planning how to use them!

  • lulalolly - I do sympathise, i had that with one of my wisdom teeth, it was the worst pain i ever. Codeine helped, but totally knocked me out -maybe not the best thing for you with 2 babies to care for :( Hope you feel well soon.

I missed the penny pinching programme as i was haunting the meat aisle in tesco looking for bargains :) And can't get OH off the playstation so that can watch it on the +1. So may have to see if it's already on the iplayer.

Just had to pop on while at work to say I've got three extra shifts at work over the weekend which means that my January wage should be pretty bumped up which should hopefully mean I can clear my debts then!! I was walking to work wondering how the he'll I would get cash together to get rid of them once and for all and fingers crossed this is it!! I do have to work 12 hours today but it's only one day and for £60 quid extra I don't mind too much :D only question is can I be bothered coming in early tomorrow to get the same money for that shift or have a lie in and get £30? Decisions decisions!!

ooooh so what did you decide??? With all those extra shifts that you're doing then you might just be the first one to cross the finish line!!! GO RUBY, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!:T:T:T
