Weigh in this morning and I have lost 2lbs! Now stand at 10st 9lbs. I'm very pleased although know I could have done better as out of the 7 days at least 3 were very bad food wise - naughty naughty! Still 2lbs is 2lbs and hopefully another 2lbs by next Friday will mean i'm on my way.

It's payday today - woo hoo :j I need to work out a budget/savings plan that I can stick to. I have separate online 'piggy banks' for the following -
    Christmas
    Wedding bits & bobs
    Holidays
    Debts
    Car
    Long term savings

Think that's it - I want to start paying into this on a monthly basis, obviously wedding one will end come April but it's just so I have some cash in there if I want to pay for something nearer time like hair appt or something similar. The longer term savings wont be massive amounts going in, few £'s here and there as debt is my focus but I wanted to at least start, it'll all add up over time.

So what's plan of action today....

    Work until 6:30pm
    Do a washload
    Check online banking
    Aim for a NSD

I'm working overtime tomorrow :j First lot in months and we've a few in january (once offs sadly) so will be working them. Then away sat overnight until sunday afternoon at friends. Hopefully a low spend weekend rather than a big spend.

    Will report back later! ;)

Finances are looking ok this month. After everything is paid (guestimates on some figures) I should have approx £500 left over to cover food, petrol, living costs etc...don't envisage any massive monies needed so hopefully if I can cut back and have lots of NSD the debt repayment fund and savings funds will be looking a lot healthier.

Now must master the art of budgets this month, this is my one and only goal! ;)

Haven't posted in a few days. So much going on and been away visiting friends. All very nice but need some normality after Christmas to settle - think next few weeks will be ok for that.

Picked up a friend from airport last night, she's been away for a month so it was lovely to see her.

So, today I have a half day at work which is fab. I have a visit to make this afternoon to family and then the rest of the day will be spent trying to get on top of the house - it's a state as we've literally been eating and sleeping in it for past week and not much else time here.

I need to sit down and work out a strict budget also so that I have money left at the end of the month.

I've not booked any gym sessions this week as feel I need the evenings to catch up on things so my aim is to do at least 3 runs this week, min of 3 miles each time. We shall see. I've already booked a gym class for next monday so that'll ensure i'm back on track then.

Right quick one from me, monies update later on x

Thanks lovely - for some reason i'm finding it hard this week. Seem to be a lot of outside pressures causing stress/worry, it's frustrating but that's life eh.

Very sad to say but I just can't wait for my wedding day (obviously because i'm super excited and can't wait to marry hubby to be) for all the planning process to be done with, seems everyone wants a piece of us, we're stuck with numbers and sadly it's family members giving us the most grief over everything at the moment. I find it really sad as I just wouldn't behave in the manner they have or indeed didn't expect it. It's very sad.

Right no more dwelling, must get on and stay positive. The next three months and a bit are going to be manic! Focus for today is very much work and I shall stay on until at least 6:30pm.

    Debt total as of 15.01.12 = £28,428.16 :)

Very happy all heading in the right direction and although I know first few months of this year are going to be super tight due to wedding it's still nice to see it going down! Hoping to start making overpayments once I get myself a bit more organised.

Next aim/main goal is to have it sub 25k...that's another milestone for me. Very much doable.

Ok, i've looked at finances for this month. So far I have transfered £200 to debt repayment fund (:)) so this will be used toward a debt once a reasonable sum has been accumilated. Hopefully clear one in full!

Budget wise I have given myself £50 per week starting today. It's 4 weeks exactly until payday. Now this £50 isn't for just me to spend on whatever it's for food, petrol, clothes, basically everything living wise so it's going to be tight one. But I will do it. Plan is to list all spends and obviously have as many nsd's as possible!

    Hmmm....going to be interesting!

Well done on your debt repayment fund choc! That will add up nicely. I hope you got everything you wanted done this evening and had a nice relaxing bath. Good luck with the budget. Once I sort out my cards and do a new budget I think I need a set amount of free money and then divide it over the month. I can have mini goals each week to spend as little of it as possible! :D
