Ok time to stop moping and get on with things!

Last night consisted of two gym classes from 6-8pm - did me the world of good mentally....physically....well lets just say I can't actually move that well so good in some ways!

    Todays to-do-list....
    • check online banking
    • eat sensibly
    • do 30 mins of exercise (think that'll be a walk!!!)
    • work until 6pm
    • finish last few evening invites ready to post tomorrow
    • have a nice relaxing bath, paint nails etc ready for lovely day tomorrow with first dress fitting before wedding :D
Few simple things, need to go and see how my carpet is doing after spilling a cup of hot tea over it and my hand - ouch! :( Think I got most of it up, I hope.

    Morning diary,

This weekend has been a bit of a wedding weekend and I have throughly enjoyed it :D

Friday was my first dress fitting and thankfully it needs taking in/up not out, lol! Saturday was a mixture of bits and bob, including another vet trip and then Sunday we had parent and all the bridal party over for after drinks and nibbles as some have not met so that was lovely too and I feel a little more relaxed about the actual day itself now as they have all met.

So now it's back to work and more work....oh and more work....same old thing just a different day.

    Todays to-do-list....
    • Finish tidying from yesterdays party
    • Check online banking and get OH to transfer fees for vets to my account
    • Exercise
    • Eat sensibly
    • Work out plan of action for the week ahead as busy one again
Simple stuff, hopefully nothing too taxing there. Main thing is work and playing catch up at the minute.

Have a good day all x

Feeling a bit fed up today - don't know why but am feeling overwhelmed by everything. Sure it'll pass, just lots going on and feel like I can't get on top of it. Perhaps time to strip it back and take it step by step.

So for the next hour i'm going to do some wedding bits and write a list for OH to sort some finance transactions so it's monies are in place for cheques and then send him to post office tomorrow morning to post some bits. That at least will ensure I feel on top of some little bits that have been hanging about.

We have been told there is overtime for weekends in Feb so I need to somehow work out a way of ensuring i'm able to work at least 10hrs each weekend which means 40 hours of overtime work - however I need to work out how I am going to do this on top of everything else and not feel stressed - need to find balance and organisation....not my strong point!!!!!!!!

Please don't feel fed up Choc! You wil get there in the end! Just look at little things you need to do rather than the big picture.

What a lovely idea to get all the bridal party and parents together! I'm glad it went well!

I'll have my eagle eye out on FB after your wedding to see if ican get a peek at your dress if you post photos :D

Ah thanks Kel, i'm ok I think there is just so much going on what with wedding, work and normal life I can't seem to do it all! Hopefully after this week things will feel calmer, although we've just been offered overtime all of feb so it could be 7 day working weeks for me, in fact may as well say i'm working every day in February! That'll bring the wedding around sooner won't it!

I'm sure they'll be pics I post and those that others post of the wedding so you'll be sure to see some....I LOVE my dress...very happy indeed :)

Admin lunch break, posted some letters (and cheques) to respective people re wedding so that's a weight off my mind. Tomorrow I will pop to our local church and take in the required paperwork re having our banns read there. Have to have them read both at the church we are marrying and our local church.

Feeling a little lighter having just sorted those few bits out - amazing what a bit of admin can do for you! :rotfl:

Just when you think things are starting to swim along nicely someone comes along to ruin it :(:(:( I'm not going to go into it as only bring me down even more. Needless to say wedding and families just do not mix  Seems that no matter what you do, you end upsetting everyone and if you do as everyone wants you to do then we end up upsetting ourselves

Ah well, just another thing in a long line of issues since we got engaged in 2010!! If i'd know how it was going to be I would never have had it as we have and gone away just the two of us.

On another note, realised that not been focusing on money side of things of late so need to get back on track.

Today is busy with work until 5:30pm, then combat class 6-7pm and then out with friend for dinner at local pub 7:45pm so don't think i'll be doing anything else now.

Tomorrow is a new day, lets hope it's a stress free and positive one!

Oh Choc! Sorry to hear of family problems! It really bugs me that families cause problems for wedding! No one other than the bride and groom should really have a say in anything. I hope you get it sorted.

Here's to a stressfree day tomorrow! Take your anger out at combat class! :D
