Send George this way then - and Robert Downey, since he's only 4 years younger than George therefore also old enough to be your dad :p

You're entirely welcome to Jude Law :p

"George, please meet the lovely Rosa, Rosa likes gardening and looking fabulous, but hates listing items on fleabay and has a soft spot for 50's clothing. Rosa, meet George, George likes pretending to be other people and when he's not doing that he's getting arrested"

    Hahah...
Oh and Robert is an exception since I saw him in Ally McBeal I'll just ignore the fact he's old enough to be my father, they don't make attractive men these days. It's a bit like good music, it's all 25yrs older than me anything newer is a bit rubbish and samey.

40 items listed and counting, all scheduled so that I just need to go on tomorrow and put them all to activate now :D

67 items scheduled for listing, so tomorrow I just need to go in and change them all to active. I will try to list some more items tomorrow to make my 100 items, I've listed them all at £1 starting bid so I won't eat into my 99p listing allowance for the month.

    Right now to bed *yawn*

Hi Kerri, wow, 67 items listed!! I've just been showing off on my own diary because I've finally listed ONE! Ah well, little acorns and all that!

I've been reading your diary for a while now and I still haven't got to the end (774 entries you know!) but I thought I would pop on anyway to say Hi, just so you know you're being followed! x

    Hi Kerri

My you have been busy , have to confess I still havent even got round to the one entry on Fleabay:o. Hope you get some good results

Sorry about the cooking but it did make me chuckle, as Mrs Fluffy says we have all done something similar at one time or other

Have to agree with RoseB, Jude Law definitely doesn't float the boat for me, just something about him I find irritating.

Having seen how late you were up hope you are going to have a nice quiet day today:D

    Catch up later

HappyNow, oh golly please don't feel you have to read all 700+ posts, some of them are absolutely massive and a load of drivel :p I do wonder how my mind works sometimes. I shall aim to post less whilst you catch up :)

I had a good giggle at burning the rice as well, I'm notorious for my dodgy cooking, I'm the girl that manages to burn custard because she thought you just left it on the hob until it bubbled like water does....oops! It was out of the packet custard too!!! Mmmm custard.

I'm spending the day in bed today watching films and catching up on diaries. I've already got watchers on my items and relisted an item where the buyer didn't pay, so in total I have 68 items listed due to end Friday morning. I figured this gives me all of next weekend to get them packaged up and I can post them the following Monday/Tuesday morning :)

Aiming for another NSD, and I need to portion up and freeze the pasta sauce and lentil chili that I made yesterday. I also need to put another load of washing on, then hang it out. I might check to see if the washing I put out yesterday is dry. Although I'm absolutely shattered today, so really don't feel like doing much.

I've realised I'm feeling quite lonely recently and I think this is because the OH is away. I also came to the conclusion the people I know in London are only really people you use a filler, so people you'd phone for a drink when your real friends are busy. I don't have anything in common with any of them, and now I don't drink I have even less than that in common. Unfortunately I don't have any real friends, so it's feeling a little tough being in such a big city on my own at the moment. I know that as soon as I move to Wales it'll be a lot better as I will get to know my OH's friends better and they all really like me, but it does concern me that I find it so difficult to meet people and maintain meaningful friendships. I don't think it helps that during my development years I was bullied, so forming friendships with anyone my own age is a particular issue for me. Although I do find I get on better with people that are older than I am. I think I shall just have to wait things out though, everything falls into place at sometime or another, and I am particularly happy in myself these days. There was a time when I would feel incredibly depressed being on my own, or acted as someone that I'm not. So I'm definitely in a much better place now than I was say a year ago :)

My sister is already planning grand outings for us next weekend when I will go down to visit. However, unlike previously she is offering to pay petrol money if we go to visit my auntie in Southampton. I think she is starting to realise that I can't afford to do things for her unless she contributes as I am trying to pay off this debt as quickly as possible. I have told her that the fleabay items are stored safely in my basement, and only plan on telling her how much I have reduced her debt to me by when I have the final figure. This will either a) anger her because I didn't give the money straight to her or b) please her as she will have less debt and I haven't taken a slice of the profits for the many hours I spent listing. I fear it might be the former, however motherhood has mellowed her so maybe not :)

Right, that was a big long drivel wasn't it oops! I'm going to go start doing some of the things I've decided I need to do, then I'm going to watch L1mitless followed by Pu55 in boots :) ttfn xx

:o not entirely convinced about the attractive men thing, since I keep suddenly realising that some cute ones are 10 years younger than me

Agree about the music though - well charts anyway, there is always good stuff out there but it gets harder to find.

Sorry to hear you're feeling a little lost Kerri - I think London is particularly hard on friendships as it's so big and crowded it kind of fragments things - there is nowhere you just kind of run into people regularly, it all has to be organised. And it does get more difficult as you do more of your own thing and move out of established circles - but you will find people who you do have things in common with, which is far better than spending time and money sloshed with people you don't really like.

:T to being in a better place (hug)

Ok I've been naughty and ordered pizza with cheesy garlic bread and chicken strippers plus a bottle of coke. I'm feeling sorry for myself today and can't face cooking, so as I have been good all weekend decided I deserved to have a treat. I need to find cheaper treats :p I will remember to pay myself £20 less next week as pocket money, or even £3 less if I am good and don't buy anything else this week. However, as I'm feeling bleugh and my stomach is growling I really do need to shove anything I can be bothered to eat into it.

This has made me think I need an emergency £20, a £20 note that is used for emergency takeaway because sometimes you don't want to cook. Although having emergency pizza would also be a good idea I guess, but I need a plastic tupperware to empty the rest of the 3.5kg contents of pizza dough mix into once I've opened it, so that's on hold until my rainforest voucher comes from tcb.

Kerri , I love custard I always remember when I was doing my O levels (oops showing my age lol) I used to have bannanas and custard in a jug straight after.:p(Still one of my favourites)- but I will make custard properly now

Its funny I moved to London in the 80's (oops showing the age again) and have to admit I hated it. I always found London a lonely city , people are always so busy and rushing around and 20+ years later things have not changed much. I haven't lived in London for over 14 years now although i do work there and commute.
I think it is a great place when you are young and want to enjoy the sights and sounds of a city but I wouldn't want to bring a family up there. My DD had my DGS last year and I really hope they manage to move away on e day.
Having said that like you I have very few friends of my own age, my mum always said that when I was little I struck up conversations with OAP's . Sometimes I enjoy my own company but wish I had good friends that live closer and I could pop round for coffee etc.

Hope you have a great time with your sister next weekend (Im sure you will ):D

Hope you enjoyed watching the TV and your naughty pizza and garlic bread.;)

    Have a good evening
