Aw Rosa, your little clapping brought a tear to my eye :)

I know where the 20-somethings are coming from, I thought the guys on my course that were a lot older than me knew waaay more. OH is determined he's going to get a first, so I just need to encourage him to go for things that he doesn't think he'll get xx

(I'm highly intuitive and happily bounce ideas anywhere backwards and forwards between A and Z,

Mrs P - Ah ha a mountain climbing partner :) unfortunately, or fortunately however you see it, it's snowed in Scotland so I think it's faaar too dangerous for us to climb the Ben Nevis.

That'll be gone by the time you get there. We still have a little snow on the ground left here, but it's a far cry from the 5 inches we started with.

Oh, I've just noticed the "London" word...snow...London...

    Maybe not... ;):p :rotfl:

Rosa - I was quite upset last night and thinking quite irrationally. Today I've been more proactive and done some research for him. I've found job descriptions for the job he'll probably have to go for when he graduates, and job descriptions for his dream job of A.I researcher.

The latter has more criteria that needs to be fulfilled, things like statistics, 5yrs experience, other complicated computer related stuff I've no idea what it means.

    Like what?

Then I've written a document that details what he needs to do to get there :) I think he's appreciated it as well as he's started a blog upon my recommendation. I'll speak to him later about it. I reckon if he does some of what I suggested then he might not need to do a masters as he'll start to get industry experience that the youngsters don't have :D

    That's exactly right.

Z - I think you misunderstood, I'm not planning on how the house is going to look as in fixtures. More a case of the curtains, the towels, the cushions, and the bedding. Things that can be moved from house to house easily, and will fit into any size of house :)

But surely you can't do that until you know the colour, texture and mood of your rooms?

Hahahahahaha I'm totally seeing Z flouncing around going "noo darling you want to put the red cushion next to the purple fireplace" :D Surely the mood of the room is set mostly by the furnishings? So a blue room is going to be cooler than a red room? Oh well, I'm making bedding at the moment, it's mostly white with black, and red detail so I think that it can probably go in any sized room and not make it feel either too big or too small.

I've just had an email from fleabay to say that this weekend is a free listing weekend, so guess what I'm going to be doing! Although looking at the images I took most of the clothes need ironing and re-photographing. I really should finish editing them first though, eugh that means turning on the laptop that's slower than a snail :( Oh well what else do I have to do with my day? I'm not leaving my bed even though it's lovely and sunny out as I'm feeling rundown and bleugh still :( I will catch up on diaries today, that's on the list of things to do.

    List:
    1) catch up on diaries
    2) do some washing
    3) edit fleabay photos
    4) list items on fleabay
    5) water seeds
    6) water fruit plants
    7) sort pile that's accumulated on the sofa

Have a great easter too NRA :) I've just realised if I can get some fleabay stuff sold then I can pay off even more of the c/c than the £1 a day I'm currently paying so I might be able to clear it *fingers crossed* but this does mean I will have to get my little bottom in gear and get to it!

Anyway, today I am £1 less in debt than I was yesterday as I've paid another £1 to the c/c. I'm not counting these payments into my NSDs which means as long as I don't buy anything else today, then it'll be NSD #3 :D

Not such a NSD afterall, read Mrs P's diary and realised I could probably service my car for a fraction of the cost my mechanic would charge me. I've ordered:
    air filter - £10.05
    pollen filter - £7.82
    oil filter - £7.82
and I'm going to go down to my parents next weekend and my Dad is going to teach me how to maintain my car :)
I've also reinstalled my 8yo laptop that was grinding to a halt, much to my OH's relief as he's been nagging me for months. It seems to be a lot happier :) Now I need to install photo editing software and I can finish editing the photos for fleabay :) So now I don't need to go to Bmth this weekend is all about making money. I'm growing seeds, weeding the allotment, editing photos and then I shall upload items :)

I've also had to spend £4.58 on 100 grey postage envelopes (big ones) as I don't have enough left for a fleabay session. I've deducted all of this from my £50 weekly allowance, leaving me with £17.62 leftover.

Oh and the OH finally got back to me about the document I sent him. He said I'm off my head haha, but he really appreciated it. He said it was really weird to read it though, as it was written like it came from an employer but was written by his girlfriend. I'm glad he didn't think I was over stepping the mark, I did worry last night that he would think that.

Right, back to my day of watching movies and sorting things on my laptop :)

  • Hi kerri *waves*

just catching up with you! i've been neglecting diaries too *tut tut* and i've also had lots of spends that i feel super guilty about :o even though it was all paid for out of a bonus so no money going on to debt. Everytime i spent i kept thinking, that could have paid off a catalogue, that could have got rid of the CC...:o but still we needed most of it so i'm trying to swallow the guilt and enjoy a more organised home :D

i'm sorry i'm out on the mountain climbing but can cheer on from a distance if you like:rotfl: i will supply you and mrs pg with a hot toddie once you get back down if ya like no way would you catch me up a mountain though (lazy mare eh)

Hi Cherry, no easter eggs for me but I do have a big jar of bonbons I'm devouring :) Unfortunately it's not my things I'm fleabaying, it's my sisters stuff I took back with me ages ago. I'm sat editing photos now, oh how I forgot how boring it was. I'm going to edit the photos, then list the items, before deciding which photos need to be redone because the clothes are too creased oops. The sooner I get the stuff shifted, the sooner I can deduct the amount from what my sister owes me :) Although I think I have over 100 photos to edit :|

Happy easter to you too xx
