OMG be very proud of me. I was just about to order takeaway pizza, got as far as goggling the yummy pizza company but not as far as their website when the lightbulb went off. I have loads of cous cous that I need to eat!!! So I went and made cous cous then ate it. Although my housemate has now informed me that we might have a mouse eep! I haven't seen any mouse droppings in my room, and no evidence of any of my packaging being gnawed so I think I'm ok for now. I will be investing in some plastic tubs next month though just to be on the safe side.

Cherry, I haven't got round to actually listing yet, still just editing! I've opened every single photo up in editing software and I'm not allowed to stop until they're all done.

Phew 113 images edited, tomorrows task is listing *yawn* but defo needs to get done. If the items don't sell the first time round then there's a few of the photos that probably need re-doing, but will give it a whirl the first time the less effort I put it the better :)

I've been watching a Woody Allen film on iPl4yer, I've not seen one of his films before but it was actually pretty good. Really funny too and it had the lovely Hugh Grant in it.

Hmmm soo what have I achieved today:
    1) catch up on diaries halfway there, going to finish catching up on others now
    2) do some washing ooh carp should really go and get that out the washing machine now
[STRIKE]3) edit fleabay photos[/STRIKE] 113 images edited ready for listing tomorrow
    4) list items on fleabay will list tomorrow, not in the mood to start that at 10pm
    [STRIKE]5) water seeds[/STRIKE] they're sooo cute, they're growing already it's amazing!
    6) water fruit plants I checked them, they seem to still be moist from the rain so no need to water them
    7) sort pile that's accumulated on the sofa that can be tackled tomorrow

Wow... I havent been lurking for a few days and you then motor with about a page of posts!!

Am glad you sent that document to your OH..me and my OH (even after 25 years of being together!) are still discovering how differently we view the world..for example I relish change..he is scared by it. he does pictures and visuals..I do words...anyway makes for an interesting life and we have 2 gorgeous kids and are still together so can't be all bad!

Best of luck on the fleabaying..I need to get OH to list that game he has from about 1972...but apart from that the cupboard seems bare..

AND...am SO impressed (hence the capitals:rotfl:) by the DIY car service..you go girl....I can see the Rosie the Riveter overalls and fetching hairscarf from here! That is so MSE....

Oooh sorry Brizzled, I shall try to reduce the amount of waffle so you can keep up :p

Today is fleabay listing day. I have the scales out to measure how much everything weighs to calculate postage, and as there are over 100 items I shall pop them into piles according to weight to make it easier to list then work through each weight pile in a logical and methodical way :)

I have more sprouting seeds today, the biggest is about 2cm tall now and I've put them in the sunshine so they go green instead of yellow :) although it's not very sunny here in central London :(

OH has now shown some interest in the quilt/bedspread that I'm making but has suggested that I do it in a fibonacci sequence. So we are going to end up with bedding & quilts that are incredibly geeky! I've downloaded some free software for working out what the pattern will look like and have come up with this:

    383484_10150676320944755_512474754_9425389_361382469_n.jpg

Right, best get on with the fleabaying now...

Hmmm... I was so taken over by the quilt pattern that I haven't done any fleabaying so tomorrow I am banned from doing anything until those jolly items are listed! I have however divided everything into less than 250g, 250 - 500g and 500g+ piles :) the under 250g is the largest so will be tackled before I do anything else tomorrow.

I have been making use of my housemate being away and have tried out her industrial sewing machine and overlocking machine. Somethings going wrong with the sewing machine though as it makes two stitches then the needle loses it's thread, I might have to goggle to find out how to sort that out but for the time being I've left it threaded pretending nothing is wrong ;) I've overlocked 3 edges on 16 fabric business card holders ready to be turned inside out and top-sewn. Then I will have to photograph them and list them somewhere that people can buy them :D their C4th K1dston fabric mostly and a very simple pattern.

I also made some meat free roast type thing, which came from a packet and tasted alright but maybe needs gravy next time. I also made a rather random looking malt loaf from a packet mix, next time I'll use half the recommended amount as the loaf is too big for little old me on my own.

Anyway, overall it's a NSD and I didn't even realise it until just a second ago whoop whoop :)

  • Wow Kerri you have been busy. :D Hope you manage to get all your items listed.

I love the Fibonacci sequence design for your quilt and not geeky at all. Can't wait to see the end result.

Thank box of fluffies :) today is mammoth tidy up, sort out, list day. But I'm starting with putting a veggie chilli in one half of the slow cooker, and finding something equally yummy to put in the other half. I've not been eating properly the past few days as I've been too lazy, so need to sort my act out really.

Cherry, wow you've been busy! Do you sell them anywhere? My sister phoned me the other day to say that she wants me to teach her how to make photography props for my mum, so that's wht we've got o do next weekend apparently.

Right best get on with things it's 1pm already eep!
