Happy easter to you too DFW :)

My chilli is going to blow my head off. I've used this recipe: here
I think I'm going to have to eat it cold with rice otherwise I'll be downing loads of water!!! Hmmm, or I could goggle who to take the fire out of chilli ;)

Who? Probably George Clooney would take your mind off the flames coming from your mouth...

And there was I, thinking you were getting racy...

    In short: milk.

And what else would attract you to the multi-millionaire George Clooney? ;)

I'm lactose intolerant, so I went for an entire cup of sugar instead! It's definitely taken the heat out of things.

    Ewww.... runs away!

On matters of cooking, I must be the only person in this household that has the greatest ability for setting fire to their food. Todays victim was the rice that I thought "oh it'll be fine" whilst I watched more drivel on tv. Went to kitchen to find it's burnt to a crisp, and I'm sure it was on fire! It's all gone down the loo, and another pan put on instead but the flat stinks. I should close all the doors really.

I knew someone who burned a boil in the bag curry - can you top that?

Perhaps it was watching it too - and has less of a tolerance from drivel TV than you have...

Flambe rice - cutting edge cuisine...

This really made me laugh. :rotfl::rotfl: I'm sure we've all done something similar, even if we don't care to admit it. :shhh:

So Kerri, if George Clooney doesn't do it for you, who does light your fire? :rotfl::rotfl:

Well I'm currently watching the very lovely Robert Downey Jr (gotta love a naughty boy) and the also very lovely Jude Law ;) put those two together in a film where they are acting intelligent, and I'm a very happy bunny this evening :)

Oh by the way, the chili was yuuummmyy when I finally got the rice right.

I'm resisting purchasing cushion pads from a fleabay shop at the moment, I've found a source for the two 12" x 20" cushion pads that I need for my bedding set. Dun3lm had them at £6.99 each, I've found them for £6 for 2. I think the shop will still be there by the time I need it though, so I shall bookmark it and wait for the money to come pouring in from the lovely fleabay sales I'm going to get this week. 23 items listed!
