Hi Pukkamum. I understand that you think my attitude is wrong unfortunately I cannot explain fully my comments on such a public forum and should not have tried to comment on something like this from my own experience as everyones experience is unique. I can only say that the consequences of someone in my life drinking to excess has affected a lot of lives in a very detrimental way. and one last point he was kind generous handsome clever and loved me..but if I could have seen into the future no I wouldnt have married him.
Oh rachelhen i fully understand that everybody is different and not everybody can change i was lucky but i am very aware that many people do not change and this causes devastation xxxx
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.

So when you say sometimes, you mean every couple of months then i.e ten weeks? There is no way I would put up with that.

My 2 year old niece doesnt even wet the bed, I wouldnt live with a grown man who did. ( out of something he had done to cause it. If it was some kind of medical thing that would be different of course.)

Someone doing it once or twice - I could see as a mistake. But anytime after that is just a joke because why would you keep doing the thing that made you do it? Youre just bringing it on yourself.
But i am talking about a very short period in time probably a year when we were living a very hectic socially filled lifestyle involving lots of hard drinking.
I loved him as i still do and there was no way i would have let him occasionally wetting the bed ruin what has turned out to be a very wonderful happy marriage .

  • To Pukkamum I didnt spend my youth getting drunk till I vomited. I did marry the person in question but I am speaking in HINDSIGHT.
