i keep my thank you cards from wedding presents, i keep wedding invitations too. I feel really special when i am invited to a wedding so i like tokeep them.

Afriend of mine didnt send me a thank you for her wedding gift and it really changed my opinion of her. I thought it had been an oversight but when talking one night she advised me she just expected the presents so why did she need to say thank you, she had paid for our dinner after all! she is not my friend anymore

    OMG!!!!!!!!!

  • For all the weddings I've been to, I've never received a thank you card. BUT we had a min-moon in the UK prior to going on our honeymoon. On that mini-moon we accessed our wedding website and facebook to pick our favourite 'non professional' picture. We then went on vistaprint and paid for expedited 3 day shipping for delivery to my parents' house. The day we got back from our mini-moon I sat and hand wrote all of our thank you cards and sent them that day. Thank you cards were received within a week of us getting married.

There is no excuse for not sending them at all, unless you go out of your way to thank people by other means.
