NCP say wrong ticket bought at Milton Keynes

Well you clearly know better than the collective knowledge of all those here, who have all gone through EXACTLY the same thing.
This speaks volumes
"If, as a society we trod an honest path, and did not over stay the allowed time, did not park in two spaces, did not use disabled spaces when not disabled, and more importantly did not make up fanciful excuses as to why we shouldn’t pay, then perhaps there would be no need for parking attendants and ‘fines’, and when genuine errors were made, they would be looked upon favourably, and not just as another person trying to beat the system."
PPCs are SCAMMERS and don't care about such things. They will charge disabled people who are perfectly entitled to park where they do (despite the Blue Badge Scheme being unenforcable in private car parks). They will claim that people owe them more money despite "paying on time". They are SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!
All you are doing is giving false hope. Yes, you are one of the huge minority that got a positive result from an appeal (though you had to go through hoops to get it). It's much MUCH simpler to just ignore
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -
Petal 1 whilst your desire to "see justice done" is laudable I fear it is somewhat naive.
NCP exist to make profit and whilst they may cancel a couple of tickets to appease the Council I'll wager they will still be dishing out tickets like confetti in that car park.
These companies demonstrably have no moral compass and have a proven track record of intimidating and misleading.
Their continued existence relies on the fact that people pay up because they are conned into believing they have to ..this is particularly prevalent in the vunerable groups you highlighted.
This forum isn't about how to park , or how not to ..nor is about avoiding payment of what is due.
It is about the fact that these companies, NCP included, decieve people and they do ticket when there is no valid reason to and 99% of appeals are rejected in favour of follow up threatening letters.
NCP issue private parking tickets in railway car parks which claim they have the legal power of Railway Bye law 14 -they don't -it is a LIE
NCP -affixed a ticket in MILTON KEYNES to a friend's daughter car in a yellow envelope with black chequering and the wording " FIXED PENALTY NOTICE" , their tickets are not FPNs which are only issued by the POLICE -it is a LIE.
NCP -towed a car from a railway car park and impounded it for non payment of previous private tickets without any evidence that the keeper of the car was the person who had parked against their terms and conditions. They claimed they could legally do this -A LIE (proven by the owner of the car having it returned by the granting of an injunction at Court against them).
Attempting to change a PPCs lieing /deceitful/intimidating/money grabbing ways by moral arguement is like trying to play snooker with a piece of rope !
This is why we urge people to ignore these invoices and get on with their lives.0 -

As with so many others you are missing the point of my thread, and yet again I will repeat the statement I made at the end of my last post.
"We are only talking about the situation at Milton Keynes here, not all parking tickets."
I have stated more than once one of my reasons for this thread was to help people who have a problem at Milton Keynes with NCP tickets, nowhere else, no other company.

The situation is no different there to many other private car parks.
Did you not read my comment about NCPs deliberate deception tactic in MILTON KEYNES ...that alone should give a clear indication of the sort of organisation you are attempting to deal with.
I wish you luck but I fear no amount of "luck" will stop NCP from attempting to fill their coffers by issuing non-statutory invoices dressed up as statutory "fines".0 -

Take off the blinkers.
Advice you should take to heart. One anomoly does not make a pattern. People here are a lot more experienced with NCP than you are. That's not a criticism or a failing. It's a sad fact.
You had a lucky result, and one which meant you had to do a lot of work to get.
It will NOT be the same for everyone, and the fact remains that the simplest and easiest course of action is simply to IGNORE.
NCP will NOT change their ways, despite your best intentions. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -
@halibut2209
It was not a lucky result I got my ticket cancelled, it was not a lucky result Honey Ryder got the ticket cancelled, it was not a lucky result trimble101 got a comment to see the attendant, it would seem very likely NCP acknowledge a problem.
You have no evidence that people on here are more experienced with NCP than I am, you are making assumptions again.0 -

It is mostly about statutory tickets from councils..however the overwhelming theme of posts on this discussion forum are re private parking tickets .
Take note of Section 5 though which says :-
"Beware EVERYTHING in private car parks
Most of this guide is about parking on public roads but the rules change on private land or in private-run car parks – whether in supermarkets, hospitals, housing estates or elsewhere. Here, you're entering the land of the cowboys, where you can be asked to pay huge amounts without reason, or for just minor 'offences', so always check signage (it may be hidden) and be ultra cautious.....
..... The firm has no right to fine you; all they're actually doing is invoicing you – though it'll be dressed up like a fine. "
Says it all don't you think ...even if you park "right" you still get invoiced and intimidated and misled...hence the discussion on this forum are not about how to park "right" in a private car park.0 -

You're funny. I just hope that people who come here actually read about the truth rather than your sadly misinformed ramblings. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -

So a "see the attendant " is NCP acknowledging a problem ???? but the poster had this to say :"We thought it was weird at the time that instead of putting a Parking Attendant Number on the ticket, they just wrote "see attendant" (but obviously nobody was around when we were looking for one!).
"See the attendant" with no one in attendance VERY helpful, not ...you can't even write or phone and complain about a specific person because they don't identify themselves ...,odd that as real tickets issued by Councils or the Police have an identifying reference of the issuer on them ...private ones don't ..because ????? (I'm sure you'll work it out if you think long and hard)0
