House prices rising in uk

brit1234 - I was under the impression you had been banned for being of the lowest of the low?
Sibley I was under the impression you and your sock puppets (MrRee & reweird) were still shocked at the scale of the house price falls.
Why can't you post as just as Sibley rather than create new accounts all the time. You little plan to create a mini army of fake user ids to say prices are rising is failing, don't believe me then look at the land registry figures today.
For the record the key worker flat are £375 for the top floor ones and £500 for the floors below that in Chelsea. There are far cheaper ones about but I'd rather pay to be in a nice area. For give me if I don't name the scheme or street but there is a certain stalker her with 18 fake accounts I don't want to pass the details too.

My prediction is next month there will be a massive drop in house prices.
Another top prediction brit - well done!

Brit is sorta right (btw, the personal attacks are out of line), as there are "key worker rented homes" such as these (yes its in Chelsea):
http://www.chg.org.uk/find-a-home/rent-a-home/key-worker-rented-homes-2/doughty-house
However these aren't self contained flats, and look to me to be more like student halls of residence/HMOs. Also the cheapest appears to be £432 per month. I don't think it is right to compare these to open market self contained accomodation.
EDIT: I was paying £478 for a sizable room in a flatshare in West Hampstead when renting (open market) so its not that crazy.0 -

:rotfl: Someone said Brit was probably posting from his little attic room!
A small number of attic rooms are also available, with shared kitchens and lounges.
I wouldn't fancy sharinf my saucepans and loo roll with him!0 -
Brit condemns people who want to live in nice houses (he does if you read between the lines) yet he wants to live in one of the best areas in the world. He's a little jumped up snob living in what are effectively staff quarters, sharing the kitchen, bathroom etc, just so he can tell people he lives in Chelsea!:p I bet he doesn't tell them he lives in a funded home hidden away from all the beautiful grand properties!:p0

back peddling i see...i have enough to live on for the rest of my life without working... and the kids will be loaded one day..
:Tshow me a post where it says i am not exactly rolling in it..
i found one....
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3613667It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Poor old twit1234 - wonder how long he will take to update his siggy ??

£250k and a house, and you call that loaded?
You must live ooop north!
That's not loaded by most people's standards. IF you have got that it's probably been inherited from a PROPERTY after they popped their cloggs!:p
People who are rich - and I'm talking RICH - not a piddly £250k in the bank (remember inflation!) they don't consider themselves rich until they've got a minimum of £10MILLION.
And they never brag about it - it's only those who aren't used to money who do. Or those who feel inadequate in some way:D0 -
Perhaps the Moderators on here could have another board for the discussion of property prices in the South East and London, and those up north.
Not a bad idea. As a London FTB I would find it useful if there was a sub board for London and the South East (and another Scotland?), or at the very least require people who post to state the region they live in on their profile.0
