Hi Lulabelle - always lots of eggs to use up in my house due to the hens. My go to use up eggs recipe is this one http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/3214/creamy-egg-curry
We leave out the yoghurt though as we prefer it without.

Booo to the rubbish day for you lulabelle:( still Ugg slippers AND a Dyson Hot - check you out with your designer cosies:p
I, on the other hand have to make do with a HWB purchased from HB (can you turn up that violin please?)
Hope you're feeling better this evening (location, location, location is on in 15 minutes, that coupled with my £2.99 Ald* merlot, HB HWB, and jams on already, is the extent of my living it large;))
Take care and keep warm XFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Wow, thanks Fortune, this has now been added to the meal plan (well, it will be when I get round to doing it) for next week....... Looking forward to giving it a go. Thanks for this!
Just had a diary catch up, keeps me motivated..
I'm really going to have to spend out on new carpets for the stairs, landing and bedrooms...... But, since winter is coming, we're going to wait until the spring and have some painting done too. So, need to save - this will affect my op's over the next 5 months but will be well worth while need to work out the cost and split it over 5 months with the aim of having it done at the beginning of March.
I've just mentioned is to DH and in typical NON MSE style he thinks that a "big fridge" would be nice..... He dreams of one of those huge things with drinks dispenser.... He can whistle for it. Maybe it can be his reward when we make our final mortgage op. so, just made the suggestion and he rolled his eyes at me....
Went for a family walk in the rain earlier, kids loved it, especially when I went wild and treated them to a packet of sweets each at the shop on the way home.0 -
I'm in my jammies too natty, cuddled on the sofa but sadly no hwb... I might ask Santa for one. Or, one of those warmy things that you heat in the microwave...actually, the children have warmy bears, off to hunt around in their rooms so it can keep me company for location, location, location (thanks for that)....
Sadly no wine, but I think there might be a fruit cider in the fridge. Or maybe a milky decaf coffee, hmmmm....... Will see if there are any leftover sweets too.
I'm a lucky girl with my ugg slippers.... I bought them around 18 months ago when I was in the states (wouldn't pay full price here!!!).... They're looking a bit used but they are fab.0 -
Got my warmy bear, a Choc tea cake and watching LLL.... A budget of nearly £1 million, WOW. Spotted her mulberry bag too, I just can't help myself......0

BSD today (Big Spending Day)......
DH - haircut - £11.50
Parking for DS2's swimming lesson - £1
Subway - I just know that DH will go there after swimming for lunch - £9
Present - DH anniversary, just something small but need to also think of something else since it's 10 years! £15
Bodyshop - moisturiser (2 of them to get the discount to work) for DH and a few £3 body butters for - via Quidco of course 50% discount code plus 15% cash back........ £22
On the bright side.....
We are away this weekend and have some food left in the house so no need to do a big food shop today... we will just need to buy a few items on Monday so that we have meals to last up until next weekend.
Changed the name of an unused savings account to "Carpet Fund" today and will put away £400 from the next 5 pay days so that we can have new carpets and have some painting done (might do some it ourselves) in March..... I'm sure we can make do until then and it's nice to have it to look forward to - we will appreciate it more. Just a shame that it will make a dent in our OP's for the next 5 months, but you can't have it all!!!!0 -
Ha - we've also decided to take an alternative route for weekend journey, this means we will avoid the toll road and thus save £12 on the return journey. It only adds 5 mins to the journey time (in theory and according to Jane on my sat nav)...... so, lets hope it works this way in practise.0

Predictable subway for lunch, but DH had points on his Subcard so our lunch didn't actually cost anything!0

I hope that Jane is better than my lady-sat-nav Emily. I think she gives lady sat-navs a bad name, with the amount of times she insists I make a u-turn on either dual-carriageway, or the motor way.
Enjoy your weekend away, quite possibly I could be well on my way to becoming an e-b*y millionaire with my 4 items (starting bids £1 folks!) when you return.

Evening
LOL @ talk of Sat Nav ladies. I had to change mine to the man's voice as the woman was too annoying. Silly really as the man says the same things to me as the woman but it bothers me less!
Have a lovely weekend away
