Roast chicken (sorry fortune) and all the trimmings for dinner tonight, I'm stuffed..... Will use all of the left over bits of chicken to make another meal tomorrow night which will do for a few meals.

DH's iPhone 5 just arrived so that's him amused and non communicative for the rest of the night (maybe week)....... I talked to him about keeping his old phone and getting a payg sim etc but as mentioned befor he's not totally on board with this mf quest of mine (he's fine when I'm the one going without but puts up a struggle if it too much of an impact on him)..... So anyway, the new one is here and he will sell his old one. The sale of the old one I'll fund the new one it just means that we still have to pay the best part of £40 every month for his contract....

Thankfull my phone bill goes through the company so it's just the one that we have to pay out for. Humph....

Natty - I think you'll be so pi**ed and busy eating all of the food that you wont manage to get any of the presents wrapped, lol!!!!

Is that not part of the fun lulabelle?

Perhaps when I get to know you all a wee bit better, I will spill the beans on one year's Christmas escapades;)

It is natty, but just thinking that you should maybe allow yourself longer than 2 weeks to get them wrapped to account for the drinking and eating, lol!

Spill the story natty..... The funnier and ruder the better IMO. X

It's post-watershed and there may be children reading;)

Why is it so bleeding cold? I have my trusty HWB, heating is on and it's still brrrrrrrrrrrr. On the plus side I have discovered that Ald* sell a not too shabby merlot for £2.99!!! This is indeed the bargain highlight of my week (and takes the edge of the brrrrrrrr)

Hope you are having a nice week and well done on your bargain boots:money: I've not been on AS*S for ages......MUST.....RESIST.....THE....50%.....SALE..........

£2.99? That's awesome! What is it called, I'll look for some tomorrow :)

It is rather cold today, commented to my wife that we'd gone from summer to winter without autumn getting in the way.

    It's Grapevine Merlot, Edinburgher:D

I had to scrape the car this morning (with a spatula as couldn't be ars*d trying to locate the scraper from the garage). Really must find the proper scraper actually as the spatula was a bit rubbish at doing the job:p

Best to stay away from asos, I had another look earlier and at one point I had a fair few items in my basket, thankfully I saw some sense and closed the page down......

I get my Zinfandel from aldi, slightly more expensive at £3.89, but half the price compared to sainsbury.

No children reading natty, so spill!!!

I had 2 bank credits appear yesterday, one for £30 and one for £40, I had to wait until today to see who they were from...... It was Moneysupermarket for my fuel swap, excellent - impressed with how quickly they pay out. Sadly the final bill from the last place was a small fortune, but at least this helps.

Hopefully everyone stayed away from the asos sale last night....? There are lots more sales going on now aswell, but now that I've got my boots I shall stay away otherwise I'm sure to see a few things that I can't live without......

Working from home all day today. I love it and don't miss having to get in to a cold car on a morning and sit in traffic with everyone else going to an office..... On the downside, it can be quite lonely if I'm home for too long at a time. I've been working from home for around 5 years now and can't really imagine having to back to working in an office again.

Making some sort of rice concoction with last nights chicken for dinner today and lunch will be something like beans on toast - so no reason to leave the house and spend any money.

I seem to be collecting eggs in my fridge. Apart from the obvious, any tips on what i can do with a stash of eggs?

Rubbish day today.... no particular reason, just one of those days I guess...

It seems to have turned quite chilly now. So wore a vest, a jumper and a great big cardigan along with my ugg slippers in an attempt to keep warm. Didn't want to put the heating on when I'm home alone so also popped my "dyson hot" on this afternoon and that did the trick. Family are home now, so the heating has been switched on!

Mt dyson fan doubles as a cooling fan in the summer - it's actually pretty good. Company purchase - never would have bought it myself, they cost a small fortune!!
