Thanks to natty pants' thread my house is lovely and clean!
I've also deleted the email with the $200 discount code. And, made a £15.05 OP as a little reward for myself, lol!
I had a quick look in to Disneyland Paris - I can't believe how expensive it is. Apart from the flight cost, it would be cheaper to go to Florida for a few weeks. Much consideration to do me thinks!
Just had a peek at the neighbours new extension and kitchen, quietly jealous......
Happy days and the sun is shining too0 -
I decided to "treat" myself to a trip to Waitrose to have a little wander..... I was very good and bought some Christmas gifts for the boys (just things that were not cheaper on Amazon of course). In addition I splurged on some of their coleslaw, white chocolate mice, 4 pieces of Baklava and some cake toppers and cake cases for Halloween. All in all, very little damage done and some more Christmas gifts to cross off the list.
OK - now, I'm still in shock but I thought I would share this with you as it should make us all feel ridiculously proud of ourselves........
THE WOMAN IN FRONT OF ME SPENT £323.10 !!!!!!
It took me all of my willpower not to take a picture. I mean seriously, £323, I couldn't believe it......0 -

Perhaps she has already achieved mortgage freedom;)
I admire your Christmas organisation, I usually leave until beginning of December - eeeek!

MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

I sometimes wonder whether doing the Christmas shopping so early takes a way from some of the festive spirit.
Most of my shopping is done online wherever possible too. I don't really like shopping, although there are a couple of exceptions to this sweeping statement.
Xfactor tonight, although my favourite bits are finished now for this year - I prefer the auditions and boot camp to the actual live shows.0 -
Took the children to see The Lorax at the cinema this morning - kids special - £8 for all of us. Great film and it made DS1 think a little bit.
Grabbed a bottle of wine from Aldi (their Zinfandel is great value) to take to our friends this afternoon for dinner. We've got a home made rice pudding cooking at the moment, we provide the pudding when they do the cooking and vice versa. We had lots of milk left which was in danger of going off, so made sense to use it up on a rice pud rather than buying nasty pre packed cheesecakes and spending £'s.
DH is cutting the grass and DS2 is "helping" - nice to give the garden and the front of the house a tidy up while the sun is shining.
I've just ordered some more Christmas presents from Amazon, some more to cross off the list. Need to check my Christmas list to see what else can be ordered online whilst I'm in the mood for it.0 -
