Can't beat a jarmie day when you feel under the weather. Hope a good night's sleep gets you back to normal tomorrow.

Thanks Fortune and Tilly - I had a rather large swig of night nurse before bed and managed to get some much needed sleep which certainly helped. The nice warm bubble bath was a lovely treat too.
Still feeling "Meh" today but I can't continue to feel sorry for myself, so I'm going to have to make some sort of effort.
Excellent - As I was typing, my phone made the lovely noise that indicates I've received payment for my eBay item. So that will mean I can OP it before the end of the month.
Completed the money shuffle yesterday, hurrah! Now need to wait for another month before I can do it again - boo!!0 -
Sold my purse (rare vintage designer purse) and bought a different one (brand new designer purse, gorgeous but not so high end) - net result is a £36 OP to the mortgage....
It's great having all these little bits and pieces to sell but it's a reminder that I wasted too much money on things before I started this journey...
Oh well, onwards and upwards as they say. No point looking back in anger.
And, since it's Friday, plenty to smile about. Forget about the stresses of work for a few days and try to relax a little bit.
Have a lovely weekend!0 -
The sun is shining but there's definitely a nip in the air... I'm not as good as the others on here, I had to pop my heating on a week ago. I'd been away on business and when I got home the house seemed really cold. Probably because I'd returned from 30+ degree heat in Florida. It's been on and off a few times since then and I've just had a one hour blast this morning. I hate being cold.
I'm away Monday to Wednesday next week, conference in London. I'd usually come home each evening but there's dinners etc on the evening so I will need to stay over. I need to replan my outfits as its really cooled down in the last few days...
Should be a fairly NS weekend... DH did the food shop last night and with the exception of having some friends round for Sunday roast, we have no plans.
I'm off to do a little bit of house work now whilst the boys play nice.

Grand OP Total for Sept = 2112
Total OP for 2012 stands at £23,210 against a £26,000 target (89%)
Total o/s on Mortgages is £111,579 - this will drop on the 1st of the month.
We're definitely going to fall short of the target of getting below the £100k mark by the end of the year... We would have achieved this by now if I hadn't have taken 11k back from the OP's to go towards my new car, doh!
DH managed a small smile and a grumble of delight when I shared how well we had been doing so far. It looks as though we are on track to have it all paid off slightly earlier than we had hoped. The goal is by the end of 2016, but if we can continue in the same way and not borrow back any of the OP's we might be able to have it paid off 6 months earlier at the end of June 2016.
Still a long way to go but I feel like we're making some progress.
Reading all of the other diaries really helps to keep me on track, especially during moments of weakness and temptation!!0 -
Sounds like a pretty successful month to me0

Hi Lulabelle
I have just finished reading your diary. Your O/Ps are amazing, really awe-inspiring, and although I could never achieve the levels you have managed, this has given me a real kick up the bahookie to MAKE SURE I get stuck into Ebay.
Enjoy the remainder of your weekend, and thank you for the great read!
