We ended up with banana muffin type cake things as I couldn't find my loaf tin. They were scummy and a hit with most of the family. Ds1 is very picky and eats next to nothing.... They failed to impress him. We need never waste a banana again!0

Great British bake off tonight, thank goodness we've got our banana muffins to tide us by as we watch it!0

Still no wrapping paper so I might hold fire on the wrapping thing for the time being.... it might be nice to wait until nearer to Christmas and do what others have suggested which is to wrap whilst listening to Christmas tunes.... I might need to drink a snowball or a Baileys while I do it and perhaps get really wild and have a warmed mince pie with some brandy butter, nom nom.
I think that even if I were incredibly organised (which I'm not), I wouldn't like to wrap any presents until at least two weeks before Christmas, I think this year I will go with a Christmas film and mulled wine, and perhaps chocolates, maybe some nuts also, perhaps chocolate liqueurs, or maybe an Irish Coffee with cake, washed down with crisps.
I'm getting excited now!!!! HURRAY UP CHRISTMAS:rudolf:February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

The day has gotten off to a very bad start in regards to being MSE - I just bought some Chelsea boots from ASOS who have a 50% sale on and are offering a further 10% discount with a code....... I've been looking for some for ages and struggled to find any within my sensible budget. Managed to bag some rather swanky ones, still over budget but not by too much..... OOOPS!!!!!!0

Ok, the day got worse.... I treated (not sure thats really the right word) myself to a McChicken sandwich on the drive home from my meeting...... I haven't had one for years and I really fancied it. Enjoyed but wont need another one for a few more years.....0

We don't get any free papers through the door where we live, which is actually quite strange now I came to think about it...... I guess I could start collecting the metro when I go in London..... The black doesn't c,e off the metro either which would be a bonus!!0
