  • I use the calculator on my phone, I also have the shopping list on the phone, so I don't forget it.

Thanks for the ideas Baileys Babe. It's just so easy to get carried away........well for me anyway :( Might have to give OH the shopping task, he never deviates from the list!!

  • I've just heard E0n are going to put their prices up too. We are on a fixed tariff until May 2013 so not sure if/how it effects us yet. Although we will certainly have eaten into our credit balance with them, the heating/hot water comes on at 2.00pm and goes off at 8.00pm, thermostat at 16/17degrees and it seems to working well at the moment, house just the right temperature and plenty of hot water.:)

OH had a bit of a moan this morning about our situation (5.00am is not a good time I can tell you!!) I pointed out that we have been buying presents that's why money has been even tighter. But on the plus side they are all paid for. He hasn't gone without, think he was just tired. He was fine when I came home and he said sorry. :)

Today was a LSD, just £1 for DS3 fruit and milk at breaktimes for the week.

Well done for keeping in control of everything Alice. At this time of year it's not easy at all. Had my 3 rd NSD this month today..feeling quite proud of myself as I find them hard.

Been talking to a number of folks in RL who are cutting back or saying they are cutting back on Xmas presents for their kids. Makes you wonder what they used to spend I guess!!!

Also too knackered to wrap presents or write cards this evening...maybe tomorrow!!

    Xx

PS we use the same bank (well smile/co-op) so no wonder we both hit glitches the other day :-)

  • Yippee, another loan payments made today, just 3 payments left :j

Boohoo, the shoes I bought to replace the one's I had had to tape and staple earlier on in the year have also started to fall apart. They were exactly the same as one's I had before and that pair had lasted ages, these haven't even lasted 6 months.

I got them off ebay, private seller. I must have that rogue pair that's going to fall apart after 6months :(

I think delegating the wrapping is a great idea, anything to make it easier eh!! :)

  • £22 left in the bank (until tomorrow). I need petrol, plus we have run out of milk, bread, cereal, potatoes and fruit. So will put £10 petrol in and get a few bits with rest.

    Roll on tomorrow.........xx
