I just bought a notebook but it has dividers in so I can have different sections. For the spending diary bit I put lines on each page - Date, In, Out, Balance and Reason for spend. It was in the reduced section 89p, so a bargain.DMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Yippee its OHs payday today and mine yesterday so today the bank account is looking very rich........not for long once all the bills start to go out, but for today it looks good
I went into town today and got Christmas cards and Birthday cards for December birthdays. Instead of sending individual Christmas cards to niece, nephews, BIL, SIL etc we just send one card to the whole family. They still insist on sending individual cards to us but I've told them not to.Anyway it came to £9.52
I'm going to order another 2 presents tomorrow.:)
Paid childminder today and 1 lot of football subs for DS2. OH put £10 petrol in DS1s car today as his contribution.
Looking forward to the weekend. xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Totally agree with you Alice re the one card per family. We used to buy for my sister for example from us, then a card each from the girls to her and etc etc through the whole family. I remember one year spending £63 just on what I call Special People Cards. Never again. I know it sounds a bit humbuggy but I would rather not receive them myself, I hate the mess and I end up piling them up on the stairs then frantically displaying them around the house if the person who sent it is visiting. I have also suggested keeping the previous years cards and putting them back up againt he following year , but noone wants to play that game with me !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I've got enough "spares" from previous years to hopefully get away with not having to buy any this year. *tight yet frugal and MSE proud*
I also plan to not go overboard on gifts either.** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)
