  • Have just been to cashpoint and it wouldn't let me draw any money out, it said service temporary unavailable. I've logged on to internet banking and all looks OK. Hope it's just a computer glitch. xx

  • Well after the performance at the bank, today has been NSD number 3. The coop bank has no idea what they did to me :D

I needed £10 for my Av0n order - 2 mascaras and 2 big bottles of moisturiser. Will have to try again at the bank tomorrow.

Also need money for haircuts £20 for 3 of us, £3 for after school club and £6 for DS2s football subs (for one of his teams), DS3 will have his haircut at the barbers so that will be £6ish.

No money left in my purse, gave £1 to DS3 to buy raffle tickets at school and £1 to DS1 for the carpark as he didn't have any change!!!

  • The cashpoint did work yesterday :), I've taken out £50, which after haircuts, afterschool club, Av0n order and football subs should leave me £5. Will use that £5 to get some sausages from the butchers.

I've checked mobile bills for me and OH and both are £15.64 which is right and it means neither of us have gone over our contract allowance.:) These DDs will come out of the account 11th.

OH is going out on Saturday, I've asked him how much he needs he thinks about £40 (drinks and taxi). He is going out next Saturday as well so we've come to a compromise and £60 to cover both.

We are going the Christmas market on Sunday so need extra petol, never been to one before so not sure how much cash we will need.

    Must do meal plan tonight.

Right better get back to work.

  • I had a day off work yesterday, last days holiday for this year. Picked up a few presents and have just updated spending/budget diary. After bus fare, OHs money for tonight etc it looks like we'll have about £45 left until OHs payday next Thursday. I need to get some petrol and food shopping so another lean week but on the plus side all the presents are paid for and nothing on CCs.:)

Still not decided if we are going to the Germany Christmas market tomorrow, looked at going on the train but that is just too expensive.

OHs and DS3 are outside collecting the leaves and tidying the garden. I've pegged out today (and yesterday) quite pleased although its not 100% dry at least things will just need airing when they come in.

Off to do some housework and wrap presents, hope everybody has got some sunshine (albeit a bit fresh out there). xx

  • Thanks mummy, OH is still in bed, from the state of him last night I wouldn't like to say how much he spent. :( I just hope he's going to be 'compos mentis' later to get in the loft to get the Christmas decorations down.

I overspent when I went food shopping yesterday, yes I had a list but I obviously can't add up.....will take a calculator next time. So I've transferred £25 from the emergency fund so we can still go to the german market later.

Last night I did all the ironing but I've got another 3 loads to do this morning, first one in and should be able to peg out again today.

I'm not very happy with myself this morning, last night I ate a 'orange shaped bit of chocolate belonging to Terry' all to myself. I'd been given it at work and it was supposed to be a treat for over Christmas.:(

Still haven't wrapped presents, I really must do it today as I need to take stock of where we are at.

    xx

  • What a busy day! Once OH got out of bed and up into the loft we got the Christmas stuff down. We now have the tree up, garland over the fire place and few lights up outside. Haven't gone too mad.....can't afford the electric.;) It has taken all day, phew!!

We had tea, I've done some more ironing (managed to peg out today again :D), still got stuff on the clothes airers tho. :(

We decided not to go to the German Christmas market, OH shattered, no spare money and no spare petrol this week. We've still got time over the next 2 weeks ends so we'll see.

I really haven't got the energy to wrap presents tonight. Going to chill on the sofa.

    Today was NSD 4.

Hope everybody has had a great weekend, according to the weather is going to be a very cold week. xx

I use the calculator on my phone, I also have the shopping list on the phone, so I don't forget it.
