I had a lovely night last night catching up with my friends. Total spend £13.40. I think because it was such a good night I'm feeling a bit deflated this morning.
Everybody looked lovely and I felt like a right frump....perhaps this will inspire me to do something with myself. Also although they are very good friends I don't feel like I could tell them about 'our situation', and that makes me feel a bit of a fraud with them. I'm sure they'd understand but we've spent the last 12months plus trying to hide how poor we are that I don't feel I can tell them now.......not that it is any of their business.
Anyway just wanted to post how I feel at this very minute so better get back to work. Hope everybody has a good day.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Yippee its Friday.......nearly the weekend :j
We went to parents evening for DS3 last night, he had a glowing report. His teacher said how well behaved he was in school.........so why does the cheeky monkey still have tantrums at home!!!!:(
Will have to go to supermarket(s) tonight on way home, must do a list (and meal plan) before I go. Also had to get petrol yesterday, pay childminder and some cash as we are going to a craft fair tomorrow.....might get some Christmas presents.
Also DS2 still needs trainers.:o
Must update spending diary tonight too. Also just checked our mobile accounts and we are keeping well within allowances so far for this month.:)
Off to do my shopping lsit.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Morning Alice,
Fingers crossed for the weekend to go on for ages!!!
Glad DS had a glowing report at school, mine are the same wouldnt say boo to anyone at school, totally different once they get home haha! Id say most kids are like that. Mind you id rather them behave at school!!
Have a great weekend xxMummytogirls x0 -
Thanks mummy, yeah I agree I'd much rather they behave at school too.
I went to the craft fair yesterday but didn't spend a bean, not a penny. It wasn't that I couldn't find anything to buy it was all lovely stuff, it was just a bit expensive for my budget at the moment.
Also over the last 48hrs I have been to the butchers, A1di, sburys and !celand. Have updated the shopping spend for this month - £310.26, should only need to get milk, bread, etc. until payday 28th, really quite pleased with that.
Still haven't managed to get DS2 some trainers.....bad mother
Managed to get 3 loads of washing 80% dry yesterday. Doubt I'll get todays 2 loads dry as the weather is damp and miserable.
I can't get into my sky emails, I've tried to follow their instructions but not getting anywhere.....so off to try again. xx
P.S. NSDs still only 9, but today should be a NSD. £9 in purse to last until Thursday.:eek:DMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

What a damp and miserable day
.
It looks like our kettle has sprung a leak and it has stopped switching itself off once its boiled.
I have put a rolled up towel against the en-suite door in our bedroom to stop the draft coming under the door. We have the window open in there as there isn't a fan or any other means of circulating the air. Anyway not very 'Ideal Home' but OH said it did make a big difference last night.
I managed to get into our Sky emails last night so that's sorted.:)

Feeling really fed up tonight.......think it could be to do with the weather being so pants today.:(
We will have to replace the kettle sooner rather than later, its leaking quite a bit now.
Spent £2.00 on a school disco ticket for DS3 today so down to £7.00 in purse but have managed 11 NSDs so far this month.

Alice, am I getting mixed up with something else but I thought I'd read on your thread that you bought a new kettle not so long back? Only reason I ask is that you would have a 12 month guarantee with it.DMP starts June 2012, £38,180.
Balance June 2015 £26,046 (paid off 32%)

Hi savvykaz, mmmm I know we bought a new toaster and had to take an iron back that broke after 3-4 months......thank you anyway.
DS1s car is back in the garage as it is still leaking oil on the drive:mad: needs a new driver shaft seal and cam cover. OH can do cam cover but the garage are going to do the seal £38!!!!
Off to get trainers with DS2 tonight after work. Bless him there were 3 big holes in the bottom of them, worn completely through......how embarassing I didn't realise they were that bad and I feel bad that he didn't want to make a big thing about it. Max spend £25ish.
Weather pants again todayxx

Its official we can do magic!!! We made nearly £50 just disappear in about 2hrs :rotfl:
Here is how-
£10 paid to window cleaner
£5.50 DS3s haircut
£5.65 HBs - soap, light bulbs
£5.64 - butchers
£12 OHs works lottery for November
£10 petrol in DS3 car (OHs contribution)
Total £48.79
I had £7.00 left in my purse yesterday morning then I gave DS2 £3.00 for school dinners, £1 for non-uniform day, and had a lucky dip on the lottery £1, that left me £2 so we put that we the change from the £50 (£1.21) and bought some chips for tea. We now have 21p left :rotfl:
Other spends £20 petrol in my car. £12 on beer for OH (from entertainment budget), £8 on 2pairs of jeans/trackie bottoms for DS3.
Its freezing out there today but the sun is shining so I am going to peg out. Where our line is in the garden is a real sun trap so should dry a bit.
Half-term next week, I've only got 1 day off but OH has got 3 so that will cut down on childminder fees. Will probably go bowling (during the day when its cheaper) and OH will take them swimming.
I've ordered 3 sets books from The B00k People for Christmas presents for £4.99 each (between 3 - 7 books in each set, plus 10% off), I'm debating on whether to add something to the present like bubble bath but that just adds to the cost......we'll see.
Nothing much planned today, football cancelled as pitch is water logged. We need to collect the leaves in the back garden and normal houseworky stuff. Really need to put some more stuff on ebay.
Have a good day.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17
