Thank you PWPS, sorry to hear September has been bad for you too. Roll on October and I hope things start looking better for you...and us too.:)
We got the car back today. DS1 has his driving test soon so at least he can get some extra practice in.
OH tells me tonight that he needs a new tyre on his bike. :(Although the car is back he is still going to go to work on his bike....bless him.
DS3 has still got a horrible cold and has a temperature tonight too. Childminder said he was really quiet when she picked him up from school. I need to have a plan incase he is not well enough to go to school tomorrow.
It is quite chilly here tonight but I'm not going to put the heating on, just extra jumpers all round....am I being cruel???
I need to check budget/spending diary and make a list of the food bits we need. We also need to come up with a plan as to how we can pay DS1 half of the car repairs.:( xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Sorry to hear DS3 is feeling under the weather Alice, I really hope he felt better when he woke this morning. I cant believe how brave you are being by not turnign the heating on. Im afraid I succumbed ages ago, but only for a quick 10 mins to take the chill off then I turn it back off again.:o
Sorry September has been rubbish for you, we have struggled as well, constant expenditure with the children for us though, its been never ending. Roll on October eh ?!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Thanks Pinot, he did make it to school yesterday but I had to pick him up mid-morning. He slept nearly all day and night and although he still looks poorly he's gone with OH to take DS2 rugby training. Perhaps a bit of fresh air and some sunshine will perk him up a bit.
Heating is still off
Went to supermarkets (a1di & sburys) yesterday and the butchers this morning so cupboard and fridge/freezer all stocked up again. I was in town this morning so stocked up on some toiletries from HomeBs but forgot hair dye...oops, also got another Christmas present and a new quilt for us (we were desperate). Spent £26 in town, £9 at the butchers and £52 in supermarkets.
As the sun is shining I'm off to cut the grass and do some more snipping and pruning in the garden. Have got 4 loads of washing on the line too.
Hope everybody has got a bit of sunshine and has a great weekend. I must catch up with the diaries later. xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

I'm shattered tonight!! I.....I mean we managed to get the garden done today. Then as the washing was drying I started the ironing and got that done too.:)
DS2 went to watch the local team play football this afternoon, I gave him £8 (£6 for his ticket, £2 to buy food so he didn't feel left out).
Another bit of spending tonight. I've just come back from A3da, I've got DS3 a coat, jeans and sweatshirt. He was desperate for clothes and didn't have a winter coat so an essential really.
Going to chill out tonight and will update budget/spending diary in the morning.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Hi Alice,
Sorry to hear that DS hasnt been to well, hope hes feeling better today.
Sounds like you had a busy day yesterday, chill day for you today!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
DS3 has got an ear infection, that's why he has been so whiney
I've manged to get 3 things on fleabay this morning. Also updated spending diaries, petrol spend (only 1 car now) £120, food £376, NSDs 7 so far this month.
Its chilly here this morning but heating is still off . I will see how DS3 feels and will put it on if we need to.
Have pegged out, don't think it will really dry but didn't want it hanging around the house all day.
I've got £3 left in my purse. OH needs £2.00 for footie this week and DS2 needs £1 for school project......that means Mon-Wed will have to be NSDs.:rotfl:

Oh no Alice poor DS, hope hes ok. Touchwood my DD1 has only had 1 ear infection, cant remember DD2 having one and it was awful when she had it. Once the antibiotics kicked in though she was feeling much better.
Well done on keeping the heating off :T xxMummytogirls x0 -
Thanks mummy, heating still off
DS3 still wasn't well enough for school today so DS1 looked after him. But I have to say he did seem much better tonight so hopefully back to school tomorrow.
I have zero pence in my purse now. We had another birthday collection today at work today, and whilst I have already reduced the amount I usually put in from £5 to £3 I only had £2 so that was my contribution today. So OHs footy was paid for out of the haircut pot.
Still only managed 7NSDs this month so far.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Managed another NSD yesterday so that was number 8.
Tonight I have been to the supermarket to get DS2s cooking stuff. I ended up also getting some cereal, bread, cooked chicken bits, amongst other things, all reduced, total spend £14 but total saving £9.57 so not too bad.
Another £20 petrol in my car tonight as well.:(
Tomorrow will be another spend day too. Need to pay childminder and works lottery. I can't wait for this month to be over!!! xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17
