    Hi Alice,

Wow your morning sounded mental yesterday!! My DD1 is 5 and we are getting some right sulky strops off her lately. Dont even get me started on DD2!

Oh no to the PPI, could you google this scenario and see if theres any way round it? Still you did the right thing trying to claim it xx

  • Well yesterday was NSD 12 so I am very pleased with that. Today won't be tho!!

I am also quite amazed that even though the cupboards/fridge/freezer are all running very low I have managed to pull the pack lunches together. I will need to get bread/milk/fruit/cereal etc tonight but I think we've done really well. Need petrol tonight too.

Feeling quite apprehensive as my car has got its MOT on Saturday and after getting tyres and wiper blades recently could really do with it passing....fingers crossed.xx

  • Yesterday was NSD 13, but today was a spend day - £43 in A1di.

I had a bit a meltdown yesterday, not quite sure what brought it on. I just started to feel inadequate and when I came in from work yesterday I just couldn't stop eating, finished off 3 packets of crisps, 2 choc bars, large glass of cola (cola was for OHs JD and coke at the weekend...oops) and a bowl of choc rice cereal. So that made me feel even more depressed.

Then DS3 decided he didn't want to go to bed as it wasn't dark so he had a complete meltdown, I then just went off on one at OH, not that it was he fault it wasn't dark but I blamed him for everything else. I felt like I had gone backwards just to how things were before Christmas, before our DMP started.

He tried to reason with me, saying how well we are doing etc etc but all i could think of is how and why we have got ourselves into this postion financially and how I came to be in the state I am.

I read the article about families being 'one bill away from disaster' and I'm not sure if thats what set me off, or the fact that OHs overtime has stopped again, not that we had relied on it (not this time!!) or just the simple fact that I am tired.

I will start again tomorrow, upbeat and ready for more debt busting. xx

  • Yay the car passed, I can't tell you how pleased I am.:j
We're off to a birthday party tonight and I've been asked to pick the balloons (not pay just pick up) etc so will go out this afternoon to get them, will also get some flowers for the birthday girl.

I've had an email from Te3co offering £15 off a £50 shop so will look at getting a delivery from them next week.

Haven't got on the scales this morning, just couldn't face it :(.

  • We had a fab night at the party, spent most of the night dancing my troubles away. The only downside is how much we spent, the drinks were very expensive (£2 for a Fruitsh00t - for DS3 not me!) but still a good night was had by all.

Kids cricket cancelled due to the weather, thankfully I got the washing dried (and ironed) yesterday. I'm going to catch up with housework this morning then off to see my parents this afternoon, then back home for the match as DS1 has work at the pub. OH was thinking of going to the pub to watch the match but after last nights spends he's just said he'll watch it at home (very MSE of him).

I need to update spending diary and sort meal plan today aswell as I don't think there is one evening when we are all in to eat together this week.

So now I feel back up and running and ready to tackle everything, I'm going to make an extra effort this week to make up for my meltdown last week.
    xx

  • You know DFW321 I usually take extra drinks in my bag but it was at a working mens club so I thought they'd be cheapish. Lesson learnt!

Housework done, spending diary updated, meal plan sort of sorted, bus money pot done for week and I've got £5.36 pence in my purse to last until Thursday. Me and OH need £2 works lottery each so I've suggested to OH that he might like to go without his paper this week and he said yes.......I wonder if he was actually listening!!

    Today was NSD 14 :)

Hope everybody has a great week.xx
