Sorry to hear about the hours being reduced Alice, but am also happy at the same time to hear that he is onboard and that you are pretty calm with the situation at the moment. Thats good to hear !

The biking to work sounds great. Mr Pinot has done that to some degree, although he works all over the place so isnt alwasy an option but if he can he bikes to the stsation if he goes on the train and bikes the other end. It all helps !

Re Vanquis, I agree with the others, send it back or shred it . We have had a few letters from them, I just shredded them .Nicely satisfying ! :D

Oh Alice boo to the hours being cut, just when you feel like your getting somewhere. Glad you are feeling quite calm about it though.

TC finally wrote to me, weve been overpaid by £40 so finally they are stopping the payments after months of me telling them! xx

  • Sunday morning already, this weekend is just flying by. Yesterday was NSD 4, and today should be a NSD too.

OH is so on board I can't tell you, he's even found some stuff out to put on ebay today. He only put £10 petrol in his car on Friday so he will have to bike to work this week. Its like somebody has literally just flicked as switch with him, I remember my LBM was quite an hysterical affair. Hope it lasts :).

Today will be a chilled out day I think, normal tidy and run the vac round day with a walk to the park thrown in. Also list on ebay and check meal plan.

    Have a great sunday.xx

    Hi Alice

I suspect your OH's LBM will be straight forward as he is living with some body who is already on message and he will only need to make small tweaks as appose to starting from scratch like you did.

What ever happens it good he has had his LBM.

  • Thanks Baileys Babe, I can't believe how calm I am about his hours/pay being reduced and like you say everything is in place so we are much more prepared for it.

Have managed to get a few things on ebay but we have got a whole lot of stuff for a carboot, and I will feel so much better when we can get to do one. All this stuff hanging around in the loft and in the garage drives me crazy....even though I can't actually see it.:o

Although today was NSD number 5 I have done a very little list for A1di, which I will get on way home from work tomorrow.

Today I have checked how our DMP was progressing, and we have paid off £1526.61 so far (started in January), a drop in the ocean but never the less all in the right direction and I will not even think about what we could of done with that money...no I will not think about it

Hope everybody has a good week.xx

  • Just a quickie tonight - Oo er missus :rotfl: Sorry I've lost the plot a bit today!!!

Have done a little shop in A1di, well I say little £42ish and still forgot DS2s stuff for cooking on Friday .

Haircuts all round tonight, we all look neat and tidy now.:)

Off to bed, I've had a really hectic day today and I'm shattered, hope everybody has had a good start to the week, will catch up with diaries tomorrow. xx

P.S. OH spent £4 at football (6-a-side)but took it out of his petrol savings pot and has stopped buying a daily paper. He's well on board (at the moment!!)
