robsmum - welcome back!! I shall have a look into the FB thing, thank you. So far 3 out of 5 have paid, think I made about £18 (after paying for postage)
DFW - LOL my OH is still recovering from getting the garden chairs out of the skip across the road :rotfl:
brizzle - Didn't get chance to try and water down the milk.....it had all gone by the time I got home from work tonight.:(
OH has just done a trip to the supermarket to get milk, bread, cereal and some bits for DS2s cooking at school and spent £12.56 and that was sticking to the list!!!
Also I found a hole in the bottom of DS3's school shoes this morning where his big toe was about to start peeking through. At least he's worn this pair out and not just grown out of them. He'll have to wait until the weekend til I can take him to get some more but I'm sure the won't mind wearing trainers to school.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Hi Alice,
Oh no to the school shoes with the hole. Can he wear wellies to school? When the weather pants like this I always send DD in her wellies!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
mummy - yeah he wore wellies today as the weather was terrible but then told everybody that he's school shoes had got a hole in the bottom and we haven't got any pennies to get anymore:eek:.....which I changed to we have pennies but no time until the weekend as I am at work......out the mouth of babes (or 5year olds) as they say!!!
OH had a call from Bcard tonight at 8.40pm which I think is a bit late but there you go. OH reminded them they had noted on the statement that as long as we keep up the payments as arranged everything OK, funnily enough they said they could now see that on the screen and were sorry to bother him
Called in Asda on way home tonight as all the boys and OH needed socks  when did socks and underwear get so expensive. Or is it just that I'm noticing the price of everything much more now.
Still waiting for 2 people to pay on ebayand weather not looking good for weekend so maybe no car boot sale
. xx

Morning Alice,
Have to agree ont he cost of undies, but I think you have a point there. I believe its just that I am noticing it more now, which is a good thing whereas before , the old me just bought them because we needed them without giving it a second though !
I had to buy school socks for both girls last week, trainer socks, bras and knickers for DD2. I nearly keeled over in shock !
Great idea from Mrs B re watering down the milk ! I might try that, we get through 6 pints every 2 days in this house ! :eek:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Didn't get chance to get on here yesterday
.
Have just paid for DS1s driving test £62!!! Also we've got a family birthday meal tomorrow for FIL, I've looked at the menu on line and it looks like even with the special deal it will come to about £80 inc drinks for the 5 off us. Can't really say no as firstly it my OH's Dad and secondly we haven't been out with all the family since Christmas as we've been making excused. On the plus side it will be good to see people we haven't seen for a while. Heaven knows what I will wear!!!
Will also need to get DS3s shoes tomorrow, and we need to go food shopping but I haven't done a meal plan/list. Weather doesn't look good for carboot sale tomorrow so if we don't go we will have to put the stuff up in the loft, I really can't live with it cluttering up our bedroom anymore.
Have started the washing machine going after not washing at all this week so far. There's about 6 loads including bedding. Good training for the washing and ironing olympics :rotfl:
I'm shattered tonight so that's probably why I'm feeling a bit low.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Alice, I can feel your pain and worry re the cost of the meal, I had similar woes last weekend. Sometimes though we have to have a treat and it sounds as though the catch up with the family is long overdue. Re the clothes, my staple wardrobe these days is black jeans, black vest top, pick of sparkly jewellery generally found to be lurking and heels. Slap on a bit of lippy and your away !!! Having no choice of clothing in the wardrobe makes it very easy to get ready for an evening out in my (not very expert !) experience !!
Its the end of what feels like a very long week, I am ready for my bed now and its only 7pm. I hope you feel better tomorrow .
Have a good weekend xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
