Also forgot to mention I’ve had my 8th year anniversary notification. 8 years (we’ll probably not all of the 8years if I’m fair) of plodding along paying this debt off, and warbling on on my diary. I can see just a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you to everyone who’s supported me on here. Means a lot.

I’ve had a couple of NSDs this week. But did go shopping last night. Spent £61. Also got petrol, and paid works lottery today.
Nothing planned for this weekend so spends should be at a minimum. Good job as January’s payday seems ages away.
This year we are saving £2 coins, 20p and 5p’s. I’ve also been collecting the special 50ps. They’re not worth anything but I’m finding it’s just helping save.

and pegging out
Have a great weekend x1 -
Thanks brizzle
As lots of people have been saying is this the longest week ever.
Went shopping last night spent £94. Also got petrol £30.
Had to order DS3 more bits of school uniform.....stop growing boy.
Another quiet week this week, so spends should be at a minimum and hopefully lots of NSDs.
Had a booklet through the post from a very nice clothing company...B*d*n. Lovely stuff but well out of my price range, ironic thing is it says on the back of the catalogue that they got my address from exp*rian.
Anyway must get go to work.

Well the figures are in..........current debt outstanding is £6612, plus £800 extra debt for the trip.
I’m actually feeling quite shocked. . How can the fact that you are paying your debt off give such mixed emotions??
I’m going to try and pay £500 a month towards debt repayment. I did stick to meal plans, limited spending etc in January. But did have to buy school uniform. From now I’m going to be on it. Cmon Alice you can do this.☺️
Tonight I’ve got to get petrol, some bits of food, mainly for the dreaded packed lunches and pick up a prescription. Trying to get all the spends in before the end of the month.

Update on spends last night, £31 at supermarket. I was going to get 2 fresh pizzas for tea as everyone was at footie training. But they were nearly £10 so I decided to be very MSE and we had cheese on toast with beans. Which we already had at home.
Also spent £35 on petrol, and £8 in cheapy shop mainly cleaning and toiletries.

Just a quick update.....We are up to 2 NSDs so far. Last night I did what was supposed to be a top up shop....£66 later.
I’ve been pegging out this week. DS3 has been getting it in when he comes home from school.
Looks lovely and fresh out there.....better get off to work.
Have a good day.

OH has had a letter re one of the debts. The actual debt figure is £153 less than we thought.
Went shopping again yesterday. I’m keeping it real on here folks. The only reason we ‘popped’ into the shop was to get a few bits we needed for tea. Anyway we ended up spending £55.Certainly no pegging out today!! Housework this morning, and then a roast and chill out later.

Is it only Tuesday?? Feeling very sluggish and bloated this week. I’m sooooo tired. :-(
Anyway back to business....we have had our mortgage statement. 31K left to pay, 5 years. Will we ever be in a situation to make overpayments? I hope so but there are so many things I would like to do once this debt is paid off.Paying the dept off actually make me feel a little uneasy. How will I cope knowing that the £500 odd I’ve been paying toward our debt is actually ours to do something with other than pay a debt. Mortgage overpayments, savings, pension, all need assistance. Not to mention house maintenance, replacing the car, or a lovely break. Anyway it will be a little while until I have to think about these things.Today is NSD 4.We’ve sold a child’s bike, so the £20 is going towards getting DS3 some new trainers.XxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17
