  • Sunday evening already.... And I feel a bit bluh.

Day 2 of June and no NSDs so far.

Yesterday we went to an event in the town. Spent £40 on tickets and food. Then watched the football at a pub spent £18. Today we've been another event and spent £22. Yes we've had a great time but it wasn't in the budget, and now I've got that guilty feeling.

OH had to pay £95 dentist bill on Friday afternoon.

Two steps forward one step back. I've just got to keep plodding.

I haven't pegged out this weekend or done any housework. So Ive got the washer on now. Plan on pegging out 3 loads tomorrow, and having a blast round with hoover, duster and mop tomorrow night.

Hope everyone has a great week, and fingers crossed we can get some NSDs.

    Xx

  • Well I've had 2 NSDs. But this morning I've paid my works lottery for the month and £5 into a collection.

Tonight I'm going to call into supermarket and get some fresh food, milk, lunch stuff and a few other bits.

Meal plan isn't going well this week. Trying to eat out of the freezer but I keep forgetting to get the stuff out of the freezer to defrost....doh!!

  • We have made it to 3 NSDs. I need to get a prescription so today may not be one.

We were supposed to go to a football tournament today but rain has stopped play. OHs cricket has been a cancelled too so that's saved some money.

When we went shopping we spent £54. For some bizzare reason we bought 2 x box Chineses. Ok they were reduced but still cost £12 for both and to be honest we wasted half of it. Big mistake won't be doing that again in a hurry.
Also picked up fathers day gifts and cards and filled up with petrol £35.

I didn't feel 100% this morning when I woke up. I've lost my mojo a bit, and having just eaten half a packet of biscuits whilst i type this hasn't helped. Why do I do it??

Anyway not sure what we've got planned now but going to try and get on and do something productive.

Hope you all have a good day.

Lovely to see you Alice. Sorry you're feeling under the weather. I hope you get your mojo back soon.
Are you planning to update your financial situation soon? I hope the end of the long slog of repayment is growing ever more visible on the horizon.

Wow Alice, those numbers.... I haven't checked in on your diary for ages and I can't believe how well you're doing. And you last updated the figures in January so it will be even better by now. You're on the home run, well done you!!

But your signature has Jan 18 as last update. Are we allowed to ask what the current figures are? If you're paying off £450/ £500 pcm that's brilliant going.

  • I absolutely refuse to put the heating on. I don't actually feel cold but everything feels damp. Any it is not going on!

Last Sunday I managed to get all the washing dried. I haven't done any since, neither have I done any ironing....what a rebel.

We are up to 5 NSDs. But we do need some milk and fresh bits so will get these on the way home. I'm going to top up DS3s dinner money card today, £15. We are going out for lunch at work today, I've worked out I'll spend no more than £8, jacket potato and a drink. :-)

  • Up to 8 NSDs. I've done a couple of little top up shops which turn out a little spendy, so I need to rein in food spending. Still struggling a bit with my mojo. It's got up and gone and I need to get it back!!

This weekend we are at a family event. Having hair and nails done in the morning, (hair a necessity, nails a treat but using birthday money). Have budgeted £60 as OH is going for breakfast with the groom and we are there all day. :-)

I must update my debt figures!

  • The first line of my previous post quoted that I must rein in our food spending.....well that failed. I spent £36 on Thursday and another £44 yesterday, gggrrrrr.

On the plus side I pegged loads out yesterday and stood and ironed it all last night. Saturday was a lovely day but we did go over budget and ended up breaking into our emergency £20 note.

Only had 7 NSDs so far this month but going to try for a few more this week.
