6 years will soon pass. When we had 8 years left we managed to got a deal to double are payments and paid it off over 4 years. Lovely feeling when it's gone.
I'll bet...I can't wait to be MF. Well done to you, that's fab. Oooo I wonder if we'll be in a position to pay off early. :-)

We are only up to 4 NSDS, I need some petrol so today may not be number 5.
I've pegged out today....and it feels so good. hahaha.
A few extra spends over the weekend, we had a takeaway and we purchased extra alcohol. ;-)
Trying really hard to keep focused.

I'm having this battle with myself this morning. I feel like I need to go food shopping, not for any specific just to fill the cupboards/fridge up again. We do 4 packed lunches a day (DS3 has his when he comes home) so obviously food stuff starts to get used. But I just have this thing that I need to replace stuff, and have the cupboards/fridge over flowing with food. Last month when I did the cupboard challenge that worked really well and I did feel more in control. In all honestly we do not need to get anything, its just me.
Last night I had to get petrol, so still only on 4 NSDs.
Washing dried really well yesterday and it was great not having to have the airers up. Last night I ironed it all!
I've pegged out again today. :-)

Well I made it through Wednesday and yesterday without purchasing anything. Which I am really pleased with. Everybody was fed and watered so all good.
So we are up to 6 NSDs.
Over the weekend I need to order some tickets for a production (family member has key part) in a few months. That will cost £45.00.
Nearly the weekend. :-)
xx

Thank you TCC. Never really looked at it that way.
Shown as a percentage it looks much more substantial. That has made me feel very happy this morning.
Thank you again.

I've been up since the crack of dawn this morning. Pegged a load out, emptied the dishwasher (how much noise does that make when you see trying to be quiet!!), updated spending diary/budget and have done meter readings. Drink tap cups of tea and eaten half a packed of biscuits.
We are -£49 on the gas/electric. We have the water on first thing for an hour and then the water and heating on 3-7. Although the heating will be on less as the weather gets warmer.
We have over the last few winters had the heating on the minimum amount of time. Some days we didn't have it on at all. Having it on 4hours a day and a bit later in the evenings at the weekend hasn't really changed what we've been paying so I think it's a happy medium.
Going to do meal plan then order the shopping. DS3 is off to rugby, after housework nothing planned this afternoon.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Sounding good Alice. Love your pegging out
we are totally using the heated Lakeland airer..not always on, but as a drying rack. So no pegging out, but will get back into it soon.
Have a great week x0 -
Love the heated airer Brizzle. I've pegged out this morning even though it was very foggy first thing. Its lifting a bit now. 😁
Spent a bit on entertainment this week, cinema, fast food, but still managed a few NSDs. Upto 9 NSDs.
Heating has been off most of the week.
Other spends this week were a new bike wheel and hand grips.
Boys are at rugby. I've caught up on some jobs this morning. Going to cook dinner and tackle the ironing later.
Looking forward to the start of a new month, feel like I need a fresh start.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Happy Sunday. The weather was lovely yesterday, but today its raining.
No rugby this morning DS3 not feeling 100%. Managed to get loads of washing dry yesterday, pegged out and then finished overnight on the airing cupboard or on hangers. Just got a white load to get dry somehow today.
After I've typed this post I'm going to blitz the house. Breakfast this morning was half a pack of biscuits and a cup of tea so need to get moving!!
On the money front, last month we spent £395 on food, cleaning stuff, toiletries etc. And £225 on petrol. We've only paid £350 off the debt as we've had to pay £250 out which was an unaccounted spend. The emergency fund does not have that in so I've reduced the amount paid off and left the EF at £130.
Trip to the barbers yesterday £22.
Spends coming up include car MOT. Hmmm not looking forward to that but fingers crossed.
Today should be a NSD. Number 1. I've got meat out of the freezer to do some batch cooking later.
I'm on it today.
